  Dog sharks are the most populous type of shark in the ocean. They often travel in packs (like dogs or wolves) and will absolutely annihilate local fish populations in areas. It is the only shark you can legally kill and toss right back, in most ocean fishing areas.

  South Jersey is sand , not the rest of the state . Most people statistically in the U.S. can not use this method . I am not going to touch the rules about this in many states …..

  I lived in pitman Nj as a kid to 5th grade . The people behind us home drilled a well over the weekend with no fancy tools . I live out west now and the drill rigs here makes you think they are wild catting for oil! 300 foot deep is normal 100 feet is a dream come true . One friend had 4 gpm and he is lucky . 30k is the average price with some twice that price to drill .

  That might work along the southeastern coastal plains, but you'll be pretty old by the time you get 20' deep anywhere north of the fall line. 😅

  In fresh water we have black color shrimp. Those are the absolute best bait for fishing here but most of the rivers are gated off due to people buying the land and putting up fence around the whole property.

  @donfromnj We have all kinds of fish here. GT are the prize fish guys go for here. They usually use a slide bait rig and use a whole Octopus, a whole fish for bait and catch over 100lb GT giant trevally or ULUA we call it here. You could also use popper lures or stick lures like the guys in Australia do for GT fishing.
