  My Dad took me up to see Doug and Annie one Christmas ('89) with cake and sherry, I couldn't understand a word Doug said! They had nothing in that house, the only light came from the fireplace.

  I remember watching him advising some guys who were on Valkyrie where to find handholds. Seemed to know it pretty well for someone who had presumably never been up there.

  I met doug moller about 35 years ago.splendid fellow.despite his lack of money he gave me a carrier bag of tinned food .I've never forgot it .
