This drove me crazy for like a year, trying to find this performance of Dancin' in the Streets through all of the 1976 tapes....it is the soundcheck opener from 7/12/1976. Finally.

ok..ok....omfg. My pug needs to drop a few pounds. So on the bed I play horse running videos because she cannot stand them running and goes beserk (yes I walk her) then I came across this an hour ago. Fuck me running sideways this is soooo funny and so true. Dumb ass women who "have to be married" omg if not faint and wither. The commentary is spot on and I am going to pass this on to others. ....another child...drinking heavily....hhahahahahahaha

I absolutely LOVED this skit / episode It's genius . Although I doubt that the younger generation will NOT be familiar with the Honeymooners, and the TRUE comedy they provided to their audience .In black and white no less .Had forgotten how much I looked forward to watching the Honeymooners .And to put the scene with a terrific version of the Deads " fire on the mountain " I'd nominate this piece for an Academy Award .It is deserving of an Oscar .! Combining the sheer talent of Carney ,Gleason ,and Jerry WOW . As Gleason would lament on his show from Miami Beach ," And away we go ! " Thank you so much for this wonderful, extremely creative piece of entertainment .I'm certain Jerry G would be LHAO ( laughing his ass off ! ) for Ralph , Norton , Jerry ,Jane .RIP . Many ,many thanks to you for the laughs ,music etc you brought to make this planet a little happier ,cheerful place Bravo once again for the creator of this masterpiece ! !

My dad used to love watching the Honeymooners and could do a spot on impression of Jackie Gleason. People these days don't realize just how popular Gleason was back in the 1950's.
