you are right Hugh.....Dimash is an angel who fell into music at 5 years old and his recognized humility gives him the right to give his reward to his grandmother.....I admire such a humble boy....... I saw Dimash for the first time in 2017 and I cried my eyes out…….the lyrics are beautiful and intense…… Dimash’s version is sublime……from the original..... He was a competitor in the talent shows……in China 2017 and I don’t know about the others after him…..but they all disappeared…!!!!!….hahaha….!!!!!. final second…… I am in Vancouver Canada and I am French (France) I watched over 50 reactions.…singer……vocal coach…..and other musicians… the men and women mostly have goosebumps……and open mouths…..some are ready to cry….. at the highest note…..the whistle…..one fell from his chair, another had pencils in his hand and suddenly threw them behind him over his shoulder…they all said that Dimash was an alien…..and one left for 5 seconds and came back with a deep breath……and the other said “I quit”…!!!!!…. My favorite version is the same song with the SOS special effects…it was during the 2021 confinement…..he ends the song on his knees…!!!!!… He wears a dark red suit…..I like the lighting…….the drummer….the wings of a bird……everything is perfect….. Between the musicians, the choirs, the special effects in the back……it’s phenomenal for an exceptional singer…!!!!…on the musical arrangements, he has two younger brothers, Raushan and Abilmansur, who are also musicians, composer, guitarist, pianist and drummer. HISTORY: This song (SOS Terrien en distress) is part of Starmania, it's a rock opera, music by Michel Berger (France), lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Quebec, Canada).......two of the best.. .. ... The show was presented for the first time on April 10, 1979 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. Michel composed especially for the first performer Daniel Balavoine for his special range. Sadly, Daniel died at the age of 33 in 1986 in a helicopter accident during a humanitarian mission in Mali. The second, magnificently interpreted by Grégory Lemarchal, in 2004, he became known to the general public by winning the fourth season of the show Star Academy. Sadly, he died of cystic fibrosis at the age of 23 in 2007. Dimash saw the show with Gregory and decide to take over, it was “him” who chose it when he saw Grégory perform it, respect to Dimash for having preserved the linguistic origin of this work. Dimash performs this song phonetically……. In May 2018, Dimash performed at the 71st Cannes Film Festival (France). In July, he appeared at Slavic Bazaar 2018 in Vitebsk, Belarus, as a judge and guest artist, and sang "SOS from an Earthling in Distress". You know the rest…. !!!!!. for more info on Dimash, read Wikipedia……in English (more info)

Happy that you found our beloved Dimash. You said "hypnotic", now that's one word we hadn't heard from reactors describing Dimash yet, but you sure nailed it. He can sing from the low note (James Earl Jones low) to the high whistle tone (off the piano keyboard D8), but he is very humble, and he trains very hard even though he was born with natural talent. He said his range is just his tool. Many said he is not from here (Earth), so I guess that's why he can sing a song that supposedly no human can sing - Diva Dance (from the movie 5th Element). In the movie, it was sung by a female opera singer, but synthesized by computer beyond the normal range of human voice. Dimash sung it. Yes, there were others who attempted it, but they were all female. Welcome to the wonderful world of Dimash.

Pavoroti must be turning in his grave knowing he was surprased by Dimash I even came to believe that Dimash was a hermaphrodite. He can sing in masculine and female voice effortless. Have a good nice day bro, Miami Florida USA

Hugh, for some reason your video got by me and I'm so glad I found it now '3 months later' !! Yes, this was a spectacular performance by Angelina and I believe as her popularity grows this video will be viewed more than a 'billion' times. Hugh, what makes everything even more special is that she is a wonderful human being, so humble, kind, caring and loving and she is so genuine we feel her presence in our hearts. Her journey is shifting gears toward the end of 2023 and toward the end of 2024 tens of millions of more people will discover her and the love she carries in her heart will touch millions and millions of people all over the world. Stay with her. She has lots of new music to be heard and I would like to share moments with you listening to her sing 'for us'.

Samaltau, that translates “mountain breeze” is a kazakh folk song - written from the perspective of a young kazakh, leaving behind his beloved natal steppe and his elderly parents, when drafted by force by the russian empire to shed his blood in the russian army. (a tsar’s edict in 1916 ordered males of non-Russian origin aged 19-43 from the province that the Russian Empire annexed in 1867 - that included territories of today’s Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan - to join the russian empire`s army ; this led to famine in the territories where the men were taken away from, and to a huge revolt against the tsar, revolt which was stifled brutally. This song was performed during the quarantine from Dimash’s home studio with two musicians. The instrumentation and Dimash’s voice creates an atmosphere so mystical and enchanting that takes you to that place where the story occurred . 🔝👏❤️🎤The gentleman playing the Kobyz is master Olzhas Qurmanbeck, the best player in Kazakhstan 🎻🔝 The Kobyz is the first stringed instrument ever. Kobyz is an ancient tool of the Kazakh people. It was used in ancient times by steppe shamans-healers for various rites. Kobyzy is made from a single piece of wood. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. The open body and strings of the kobyz from a bunch of 30-60 untwisted horse hair give a very thick, overtone-rich timbre. 🔝🔝

"Good" is an extraordinarily insufficient adjective to describe Angelina's vocal talent. She's one-in-a thousand lifetimes good...otherworldly in fact.
