  I'm now in this situation as a freshman. my parents didn't want me going too far and im from MA, but I really badly want to go to LSU and even got in and now I have to tell my parents I'm still not happy with my decision to go here instead of LSU.

  Lsu has a lot of security and is as safe as pretty much any other campus. But of course just like anywhere else you probably wouldn’t walk by yourself at night in Lsu, but there is a lot of security. It is safe.
