We’re two friends who are starting an overland journey, building a 2021 Hilux adventure edition into an overlander. We’re documenting the build process and our adventures on KZread. Our goal is to help people who are interested in Overlanding, whether they’re just getting started or are experienced explorers.

Why the music?
Very effective sales person, could have easily just sold them an AT in the same size as the factory tyres, which would be perfect for a beginner. Instead they sold him on new rims, suspension and larger tyres. They are good things for an overlander, but not necessary for someone new to it.
Super editing👍, you need show more on place when you focus over landing, instead of more on truck videos. U guys are amazing. Truck look superb too🔥

my hilux tyre is 265/65/R17 and is lifted 2in, what is your recommendation on the tyre size and rim. The vehicle i will be using it for normal road use and during the weekend will go for adventure offroad. I want to have an aggressive look on my hilux? Thanks

Usually suspension is last to a build, unless you know the additional weight you are going to add. Good to see the LT tyres for the extra weight.
@overlandgcc that's correct. We haven't added the rear leaf yet. Now that it's done with the roof rack and tent, will do it sometime in the next couple of weeks.

He have a method MR703 0 offset Not sure what tire he running
The rival is like 50 - 60kgs for front bumper. We are using the method 17 inch MR703, 0 offset.

In reality, tires depend on your climate. Here in Socal, no rain year round (relatively) so sticky summers would be fine. Also, you can buy a summer & winter set and change as needed. Lastly, need to think if you want longer lasting & more eco tires, or just wanna send it.
