What a great interview, I love the questions! I was at BG Toronto’s concert and I was able to stay at the rail just in front of André, was AMAZING! Was a dream coming true to see them so close! I have two curiosities that I wish to know about Hansi and I never saw an interview with him where he talks about: 1- if he sings in the shower. 2- if when his wife gets mad with him, she calls him Hans Jürgen 😂

This has probably been said for 20 years by now. Not gonna happen, he's fully retired, he's a family guy now, with a regular day job. Would be nice to have Doug or Guy back, but they're doing fine in the guitar department with Charlie, too. Besides, Charlie pulls off Doug's solos on the old songs live, something that Guy never bothered to do. His writing is good, and it shows on the new album - most of the songs were co-written by him and two were fully written by him. Actually, his writing style is very reminiscent of Doug's, unlike Guy's, who pretty much wore his Pyrexia and Internal Bleeding past on his sleeve (not that it's a bad thing, it made Blood Oath a very interesting album). The dudes I really miss are Mike and Kevin (matter of a fact, it saddens me that Kevin ended up not contributing to any album of theirs, he's probably THE tightest death metal drummer out there and his fills are really something). No offense to Eric, he's a great drummer, but Mike and Kevin are truly perfect for the band.

@@Admiral_Bongo+1 - Kevin Talley is my favorite death metal drummer as well! I've listened to albums from multiple different bands and I still remember each time I kept finding out it was this same guy. His drumming is so good that I kept looking up who the hell was drumming to find out it was Kevin!

I'm in the Toronto area as well and would love for Xentrix to play here one day. Seven Words is a great album. Shattered Existence, For Whose Advantage?, Bury The Pain, and Seven Words fit nicely together. Throw in the Dilute To Taste EP and you have an excellent package of Thrash greatness. Awesome interview. Keep pressuring Noel from Inertia to bring em over 🤘

Bob Gundy was one of the kindest souls I've ever met. What a wonderful human being. Him and his wife would have us over for dinner every time we were in their area. Seemed to me that Bob always had a good word and a smile for every one he encountered. Sadly, Bob passed away last January. He's greatly missed. Because of people like him, I really hope there is someplace better after this life. He deserves to be someplace better. Cheers, my friend. =)

"He who dies with the most toys wins." Wow!, I haven't heard anyone else say that in a long time. I use every now and then in sermons to indicate how twisted one's worldview is to believe such a thing. Wins what? All that you've accumulated with go to someone else who will squander it, or it will go to into a dumpster. You will die, and take none of it with you. Enjoyed Overkill in my earlier years.
