He never died in the bathtub, he died in a club in the bathroom after he snorted heroin. He bought the heroin there. The owner of the club panicked and the bouncers took him back to his apartment where they put him in the bathtub. Pamela said he died there and no autopsy was done. The owner of the club didn't want to scandal. He admitted this happen out of guilt many years later. Jim went to that club to get heroin for Pamela but he wanted to try it so he snorted it he never liked the needles.

Kissed Jim’s headstone today, 20+ years waiting for this trip to Paris. Jims is a beautifully simple grave hidden within the ostentatious array of wealthy statement mausoleums of past masters. A simple and beautiful soul and very fitting resting place for a man that gave us so much in our lives thank you Jim god bless and rest in peace ✌️
