    Used to use this technique but find sometimes it interferes with the proximal contact if youre not careful where youre packing teflon. I now prefer just removing excess in the embrasure with a scaler or finishing bur now. If ive got a very poor transition from the remaining cusp to the expected height of the marginal ridge as indicated by the matrix I'll still apply this technique though.

    The lower incisor has a thin conical root that is liable to fracture with bucco-lingual movement, it is safer to use rotational movement instead

    When I first had my braces, my orthodontist put on these lace wires for a week, then put on the traditional NiTi wires later.

    Why do you make lacing?

  • @headgearjoe
    @headgearjoe2 жыл бұрын

    Lacing is used to close gap's very tight and hold them in place so you're teeth stay in the same place

    Can I use it instead of Power chain to close spaces? and can I applicate lace on upper two cantrals and laterals if there no spaces between them and applicate power chains with lace to close spaces from laterals to first premolar. Thank you for your time ♥️
