I’m planning to make Chewbacca too but especially in the summer, sweat problem is concerning so water/ice cooling vest could body temperature down for a long time?
@hanakang2794 I personally do not use any sort of cooling device. But I know other wookiees do! Sorry I'm not much help! I sweat alot but it's generally not a problem! I do recommend a change of undergarments after hot troops!

@hanakang2794 roughly 3800 in eruos at the time conversation rates it was about 4500 plus I bought my sound system and hockey pads on my own so those were additional costs on top of the 4500

Nice find for trooping. Hopefully ur club has told u about using velcro on ur boots to keep calf armor from rolling as u walk.
I have velcro on my calf, it still turns! I'm a GML myself for my garrison. I know it's not in line with my cover strip. I have been a tk for 6 years no matter what I try it will not stay. I think it's more the shape of my ankle. We all can't be perfect, if that's my flaw that's not a bad one to have! Thanks for watching!
Also with velcro u can add a clip that u glue to ur calf then pop the clip from shoe to calf. I have seen it on other troopers and it helps them. Just something extra

My family friends have actually found me a ape suit made out of real human hair and I’m going to get an ape mask with moving jaw and a Wookie Bandelier and a metal blast gun which makes noises the ape feet and hound are attached to the suit and that’s how I’m going to become Chewbacca Because there’s no other people that make Chewbacca costumes for cheap the only cheap one I found and I’ve already got is the Rubys supreme Chewbacca suit which isn’t that good? I need to be 7 foot two. Do you think wooden stilts would be a good idea. Basically it’s like a wooden platform, two platforms that you strap my feet to do it that way, since I have no vision and I’m blind
I'm really happy for you! That you found a chewbacca costume that works for you. Do whatever you think is right for you on the stilts part! If you think the wooden stilts are gonna work for thats great! I know a lot of chewbaccas that use wooden stilts, so if that works for you that's wonderful. I'm happy that it's all working out for you!

Did you do this at Disneyland or disney world? I’ve made an R unit before at disney world and I’m planning on making a mix of a C unit and an R unit- but I don’t know if the C type parts are at disney *world* yet or just disney*land*.
This droid was made at Disney World. The C series parts have been there for the last couple of years!
I’ve just acquired one and it’s identical to yours. Each piece in the same hole, including the 2 snowman Vader. I got an extra blue Leia though, 25 pieces. Bonus! Mine was bought in the Uk.

As your voic how’s your voice changer broke before and then you had to do the voice yourself has that happened before and has it gone off in the middle of the night by accident?
No my sound system has been really solid, I've not had any issues yet with it! It's never gone off in the night, the system gets separated from the amplifier when it's stored!
Well, I am still getting a Wookie costume, but from some of my family friends, the other person who was going to make it for me didn’t want to do it so how we are going to do it is to get an ape warrior suit which has the mask and the wig with it and the suit is covered in Real human hair and we’re going to get the leather Wookie Bandelier from Etsy and I’m going. I’m getting the tea ramp electronics voice unit and that has Chewbacca on it. Where can you get a prop replica bow caster that makes the correct sound effects Have you scared some people in your costume for a joke just to make them laugh. My suit is going to be made out of a ape Warrior suit. Essentially Chewbacca is an ape. If you think about it, this is made out of synthetic fibre, which is actually dried up human hair, essentially
I don't personally have a bowcaster, but there are many great makers to be found on the wookiee Facebook page! If you ask them, they can give you better advice then I can!
I know a wookie cosplayer and his outfit has a lot of tangled hair, unfortunately. But, maybe it's because he doesn't know how to untangle the hair and may be afraid to damage it.
That is completely understandable not touching the tangles from fear of damage! As I've learned to take care of my wookiee I've shared the experiences and its terrifying! But if the wookiee you know likes the look of the tangles no reason to touch them! Thanks for watching!
I am getting a custom Chewbacca suit made by a family friend is there any way of having stilts made for a blind person since the feet will be separate from the suit or is there another way to make me taller I’ve got black heels that made me 6 foot I cannot wait to become Chewbacca is the mask animatronic or does it have a pulley system inside the mask is the face silicone and has people with no vision have they come up and felt them and what are the gloves? Could you explain the gloves to me since I cannot see thank you. I am excited to become Chewbacca next year. It is my live dream 14:23 to become chewy. I love chewy he’s so amazing I like the way he feels and the way he sounds he sound like a dog trying to sing
I don't know if there's still it's made for a blind person. I've honestly never looked for something like that. The other option for making you taller are they come with kiss boots. They're boots that go up to your knee that can add up to about a foot of height. From what I understand I've only seen pictures of them or read comments of people using them. I have not personally used them because I am so short for chewbacca. I have to use drywall stilts that have the feet attached to them. it depends on how shorter or tall you if the kiss boots would be okay or if you need to go up to stilts. The jaw of the mask is Articulated so I just opened and closed my mouth to open and close his jaw. The faces made from equal flex silicone. I've only ever had a few autistic children. Feel up my mask, but anyone that has ask me to touch and feel the costume while I'm wearing I've always let them! The gloves are essentially ape fingers glued on to some black gloves. The fingers are kind of wrinkly looking with brown Gray features and the nails are oversized and kinda cracked with brownish detail. I hope that helps you. If you were in costume I guarantee they would have delayed you even more around the wedding area.... But there would have been some great pics! At one event we were working, we were told to stay away from the wedding reception which was in another room (which we were unaware of until they told us). We respected the space, but the guests all came out of their reception and met us in OUR event for photos... lol Not our fault!
