Able to say if the founder 80+sub is about as good as 120h? Are they worth 2x the cost?

sound stage is bigger on 120H because of bigger subwoofers, ( even if it could be passive subwoofers 🔊). the difference will be Depending on subwoofers quality, if you will use cheap subs , than you can’t get the same like 120h inc active subs ,. the subs in 120h really close to the REL S series subs , so F80 + 2 REL S series will cost you More , then pair 120H . .. it’s a lot depends.. overall all speakers really good over 2k. and I can feel the limited power on F80 . I got big improvement on sound ,after I got Processor and Amplifier…
What are those blocks you are using to prop your TV up? I'm looking to do something similar so I can move my center channel to the top shelf of my audio cabinet. BTW, I'm lovin' those Paradigms!!!

It's so nice to see quality speakers not going through a Japanese AVR. Can only assume one must have a decent pair of ears as well.

One's only has to take a look around the back of a modern Japanese AVR to see what an interrupted signal has to put up with. The more features, functions, and extra channels they cram within an AVR chassis, the more the sound quality is likely to diminish. There's a reason why.. unless it's analogue, the pure direct option is not available on quality sounding units! No wonder after auditioning three Japanese AVR's, I was unable to get the best out of any of my stereo speakers. In fact, if I hadn't already kitted my room up with 9 channels of shielded cabling, I probably would have gone back to an integrated. Fortunately, I found an AVR that doesn't just sound more analogue sounding. It's actually more finely balanced, too

nice speakers tight clean bass not to much as it should be my Klipsch rf-83 is to much bass I had to block all ports and upgrade parts to get them to sound decent

At this price point ALL Speakers are excellent, even cheaper , it all depends on your preferences and what you are looking for. I have very small room 11.4’w. X 18’L. X 11’h and didn’t have a lot of different brands , I had JBL Studio L series before this set . I would say the difference is about 20% but these 20% sometimes very critical .. the best way to go with audio it’s buy good processor and AMP ,because it could change all your sound with cheaper speakers.

See a couple 120h there? I’m currently trying to decide between the 80 and 100fs. Have the 40b and 70lcr right now, getting a tower next and putting the 40s in the back. How’s that 80 sounding? Would prefer it over the 100 for its size. But the 100 is so tempting, even if it is a little large for my living room. If I had a dedicated theater. 100f all the way.

first of all I’m New in HT, Music . 80 is smaller sound stage, BECAUSE of smaller woofers .otherwise it would be the same sound . and it less powerful.even subs can’t make it sounding bigger, size the problem . the 120H is will cheaper to go , because you don’t have to buy two REL subs , to have the same clean, deep base , of course with 100fs will be better and two RELs, but it will cost you 12k, this one all in one $8,300 on sale (120H).

@@alegotron Makes sense about the 80fs. Sounds like you would recommend the 100 over the 80? Really hard to tell from a KZread video, those 80s appeared to be working hard at -15. I already have a couple SVS subs. Did you return the 80s?

@@desmondc3000 No, I will keep it for surrounds, and 120H for front, 90C for Center , and I have Two REL HT series 15"-800RMS each. but for music better turn it off. if you have 12k go with 100, the svs subs ,not that good , compared to to the REL HT , I had svs 16 , it was enough to listen one song to hear different in sound quality. so I returned the svs 16. the bass from 120H is really like from REL- S series subs , you can’t get even close the same quality of bass from svs , that is why I’m preferred go with 120h , to avoid buying two RELs for 6k total plus 100s 6k, to get ‘almost the same’ sound quality like from 120H for $8,300 total.. 🤯
