    This is another one of those "trust the process" techniques, lol ... love this, can't wait to figure out how to do this at home. The more I look at the finished product, the more I see. I think it looked amazing without the cells, imo... but yes, so cool. Thankfully tarps are cheap, so maybe I can borrow the garage floor for this one ;-) Also, your narration is perfect, you don't talk the entire time (like some others), you let the art speak for itself, too. Your personality shows thru when you talk to your audience, so don't change a thing!

    So pretty! I'm new at paint pours, so I'm loving all these amazing techniques. I've taken a few classes at a local place, but the lady is super set on her methods - and doesn't seem to encourage us to try new things ... she even criticized my color choices, but then said how cool the end result was... Needless to say, I only went to three classes with her. Thank you for sharing your talents, I can't wait to try this out! 💜

    OMG! I wouldn’t go back either. I’m completely KZread taught. The best way is to experiment on your own, and analyze your results. What worked? What didn’t? What would you do different next time? That’s also the way to find your own style. Keep going!

    I just discovered your videos and I love your artwork. To answer your question of listening to you talk, or listening to music?? I prefer listening to artists talk, and explain their process for the techniques they do. For me, the music is extremely distracting and I always turn the volume down or mute it all together.

  • @Necessary2Comment
    @Necessary2Comment10 ай бұрын

    Hey hey! They are both beautiful - great experiment too. I've been wondering how they would look reversed as well. As far as your question: for someone like me, my 'listening to artist talk' has more to do with that I'M doing than what YOU are doing. Sometimes, I speed through videos on mute because I'm not trying to bother those around me. Sometimes, I like to listen to learn something if it's a technique I've never seen. So my point is - you do you boo! We are all gonna watch it in our own way no matter how you do it, so don't stress toooo much about it. 💙 just friendly thoughts from a follower.

    Absolutely STUNNING! & Boy am I freakin jealous of them all, what an honor it must be to have all your absolutely breathtaking pieces of art work displayed on your wall like that, yes I have to say I’m a bit jealous, well more than a bit. & I mean that in the best way possible! & One question I’ve gotta ask well two questions actually, but my first one is So whenever you had the idea pop into ur head about you wanting to create your own stunning pieces of art like these, (bc I’m sure ur like a lot of us and had to have seen those gorgeous pieces that “Rinske©️” did, and thought boy would t it be lovely to have similar paintings like that of your own, but ones you yourself would create, that’s what I’m assuming your thought process was like) now if I’m right and that’s what you too thought, Now my question is after you had that thought & then went to put that plan into action, was there a time where you felt like man idk if I should try it bc you may have been unsure if you too could create something like that, & If you did in fact have your doubts what was it that you did to make yourself get passed those doubts and push forward to see if you could in fact create pieces like those? Bc that’s where I’m at, & I honestly don’t know how to get myself out of this stage that I keep doubting myself & the unknown of what the outcome will be quite honestly is the main reason that I haven’t even attempted to ever create one like that, not even on a smaller scale, & that leads me into my next question now that spinner you’ve got was that one you made yourself or did you purchase it? Bc that’s the other reason why I haven’t even attempted to make similar style paintings bc I knew once I had tried the smaller versions to ya know get the hang of it, and worked out any of the kinks before possibly progressing into something bigger, was bc I knew that the only spinner I’ve got currently is absolutely WAY WAY WAY TO SMALL & I know myself I would have wanted to immediately (& I’m talking the same day I’m sure if I ever was to be successful in my first smaller versions) So let’s just say hypothetically that I had made it to that point & I had been successful in making some beautiful SMALLER versions of the ®️“Bloom-Style-Flower-Dutch-Pours”©️on a small scale and had worked out most of the kinks and got more familiar with that particular style, and was at a point where I was comfortable enough with making them that I thought I could then move onto something bigger, I know I would have wanted to move onto those bigger immediately immediately, but that’s where I knew I would have RAN INTO A WALL per-say or I know I would have had to STOP completely & not been able to move any further with it bc my spinner wouldn’t have worked on such large canvases like that. So I knew before I ever wanted to try to even get the feel for making even the smaller versions that I needed to figure out to either go ahead and “bite the bullet”and go & outright buy me a larger scale spinner, or IF people had found that it would be cheaper to just make yourself a spinner of that size, but then it would have to be very SIMPLE for me to be abele to construct it myself, even if it was cheaper. Bc I have a feeling that it’s probably far more cheaper to make those larger scale spinners yourself, but I just don’t know if I’m equipped enough to construct something like that. So even if it was cheaper it would have to be super SUPER EASY to build yourself in order for me to go that route. Otherwise if it is even a little tricky to build one yourself ( even if cheaper) then I might as well just go ahead and spend the extra money and purchase one that’s already cut and measured and designed for that sort of thing. So to sum all the second part up, my question was Did YOU BUILD that SPINNER (that you used for the larger size canvases) YOURSELF OR DID YOU BUY IT & IF YES TO IF YOU BOUGHT IT , WOULD YOU MIND SHARING WHERE IT WAS YOU BOUGHT THE SPINNER AT/FROM? &/OR Do you have any recommendations as to where to buy one like that? [Side Note:] Now I am aware that “Erica Hughes©️” sells her own spinners®️, but having said that, there ARE some down sides to buying hers *IN MY OPNION! & Those reasons are as follows : #1.) Hers cost like $120, #2.) It would have to be shipped all the way from Ireland, which is hella expensive as well, & that’s on top of the $120 for her spinner, then wait more than a month to get it, #3.) Lastly which is rather IMPORTANT TO ME AT LEAST I’ve had the opportunity to read and listen to some other KZreadrs feedback of who shes [Erica Hughes©️] either given her spinners to to help promote her spinners or those people “may” have bought them from her, but I’m sure at a SIGNIFICANTLY MUCH MUCH LOWER PRICE, than say one of us would pay for them) but anyways those people I have heard say that her spinners although they were constructed very well, and would probably last people a heck of a long time, but it’s just that they are rather very heavy, and much harder to spin & even more so when you have a larger size canvas on them with tons of paint on top of that, which is its sole purpose mind you. So people have to take that into consideration. Oh and that reminds me another reason as to why i personally haven’t ever tried to make similar paintings myself is simply bc I JUST DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF SPACE TO EVEN CREATE A LARGE PAINTING LIKE THAT, & also bc we’d have to spin them (obviously) & bc the paint tend s to go all over the place, bc right now unfortunately I’m still using my dinning room that I’ve converted fully into my art room, & in it is my lil 4ft x 5ft ( I think it is) old kitchen table is all I have really paint on. So that’s my other issue as well.

    & im terribly sorry for such a long comment. But I just felt it all needed to be said in order for yiu or anyone to fully understand where I’m coming from and my reasoning for asking the questions I did ask. & what not. It’s turning out that it’s taking me much longer to create that video I mentioned than I thought. I’ll get it at some point, but in the meantime, I want to say that yes, I did breakdown and buy Erica Hughes spinner. It was worth it! However, I didn’t actually use it until after I finally figured out what I was doing with this technique. The most important thing I can tell you is to keep trying, and analyze your results so you can adjust. I tried many times, and multiple recipes and canvas sizes before I figured it out. For this technique, the bigger the canvas, the easier it is. And I had to master the paint and water recipe. I finally saw one video from Molly’s Artistry where she said she mixed oxide black from Amsterdam with water at 50:50. With that, I matched that consistency with all my other paints and finally was able to do this. Took me a literal year. NEVER GIVE UP! If you’re willing to spend the time to fail, you’ll eventually master it. I’m a firm believer that talent is just stubbornly refusing to give up. Always analyze your results and adjust! You CAN do this! Much ❤️

    It’s still absolutely breathtaking regardless of what “you’d call your lil mishaps” bc truth be told, had you not pointed it out, we would have never known. & I WHOLEHEARTEDLY GENUINELY APPRECIATE THAT YOU DIDN’T EDIT THAT BIT OUT, BC YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW INCREDIBLY HELPFUL THAT WAS FOR ME, & IM SURE MANY MANY MORE OF US. Bc that not only did that teach us how to troubleshoot when we may encounter a similar situation, but more importantly it also taught us that all is not lost if we too have a mishap occur & when we’ve thought that there was nothing else we could do, & that we’ve ruined it, & want nothing more than to give up or throw in the towel, that this right here is proof, that if we just keep at it, that eventually we’ll conquer what it was we set out to do, & to trust the process and do look at them as “mistakes” but as lessons to help makes ourselves better, bc we’ll learn from those lessons and know for next time, ok well we won’t do that again. & That is what it’s all about, bc it makes us stronger and much more wiser, the more experiences we have and the more times we actually are perfectly our craft, & when it’s all said and done we are all better for it. If that makes any sense to anyone. (I surely hope so) but that’s just my 2 cents, and my takeaway from all this. SO WENDY, I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR SHARING THIS AND ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS, & MOST CERTAINLY FOR NOT ONLY SHARING YOUR THOUGHT PROCESS WHILE YOUR CREATING {which I know has got to be really hard in itself sometimes or probably ALOT of the time} BUT I ALSO WANT TO THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR NOT EDITING OUT THE BITS WHEN YOU MAY RUN INTO A MISHAP, & FOR YOU SHOWING THE ENTIRE PROCESS. Which I find unbelievably and incredibly helpful. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. & I know I certainly appreciate ALL of your efforts, bc I know it can’t always be easy in fact I know it’s not always easy so thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do, it is very much appreciated. From a very appreciative viewers of yours; thank you again Wendy, & until the next time, Take care and have a blessed day.
