How do the wristbands work? Booking quite close to the date and I doubt they'll deliver wristbands so quickly internationally. Can I pick them up in person when I get to LA?

Going to my first hard summer with my girl and some friends! Quick question but any idea on how strict they were at the entrances? I heard some people got fully patted down where others also had to take their shoes and socks off. Trying to sneak in a few small alcohol shots since drinks are expensive inside 😭
@@drtamalito8258 all depends on the security and how sketch you look, there will be multiple lines look for the one that’s moving the fastest or security that looks like they even rave themselves. there have been times where i wasn’t even checked there have also been times i was pat down and even told to take my shoes off.
are umbrellas allowed to take inside? or do they open up your umbrella to check if its too big?
They do allow typical parasols that you may have seen before. There was even a hard summer branded parasol. After looking through my videos, they allowed the sun blocking umbrellas that were a little bit bigger than the typical parasol. I have not seen security open umbrellas before 🙂.

Went to my first HARD Summer last year. Came from Texas and had a fun time. Venue wise it wasn't bad but some areas did have some bad congestion. Hope its a good one this year for all who are going. Going to my first EDCLV next year I'm really excited.

I will be returning after I went last year. I did VIP for 1 day and was deff worth it. I decided to be a GA RAT this year tho, but will be in attendance both days. Currently working on a Garfield totem. So if you see one at hard SAY HI !! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Based on the food served would have to be a pass from me. I have the pallet of a child lol. I wouldn't be able to enjoy it outside of a couple food items, so not worth the price for me. Glad you enjoyed it though!
Totally get that! 😅 The food options can definitely be hit or miss depending on your tastes. I would like to see them come out with a new experience, that is maybe more approachable with not as fine-diningesque. Like a festival food buffet even!!

MGM grand is near the Grand Prix shuttle stop 🙏🙏. I would estimate a 15 minute walk from the property. Or a short taxi/rideshare 😀.

After my 11th year, I can confidently say this was the best! Mostly because I get to meet so many people from all over. And this year, I was able to enjoy it with a group of friends from San Diego and we hung out as much as we could during the weekend 😅. I enjoyed the different activations and the different areas. I loved exploring with Mrs. Tour Guide. The sets you mentioned were on my list, definitely wish I could've caught them 😖. But, it be like that sometimes 😅. We also did Salvage City and that was dope, that's my next video I'm working on 😄. My top sets were Fred Again, Paul Oakenfold, Worship, Dimension, and Armin ! Still undecided for 2025 😵.

This was my first EDC and I agree with the size of the festival...it's like a Disney Park, it's so big, there's just not enough time to enjoy all the attractions! (Especially after factoring logistics like bathroom breaks, food lines, and navigating between stages)
So true! The scale of EDC is incredible, and there's so much to experience. Balancing the fun with the logistics can be a challenge, but that's part of the adventure! Hope you had an amazing time at your first EDC! 🌟🎉

Interesting I actually felt there were less people than last year, except it got tight for Slander and Garixx. For the most part I didn’t get squished like last year. I upgraded to VIP last year for that reason. This year I did VIP but hardly went there as it was fine on the main floor. Scheduling should be improved as some great sets were running concurrently. Restrooms and water stations for us were quick in GA. Didn’t wait more than a few minutes. Unlike last year. Maybe I was at the lighter side of things.
It's good to hear that your experience with restrooms and water stations was smoother this year, and that the main floor was more manageable for you. I'm hearing a lot about the crowding at Slander and it makes sense for Garrix. You're right that scheduling can always be improved to avoid those tough choices between great sets. They definitely did Bionic Jungle right this year. Super cool spot! Actually had a jungle feel to it as opposed to last year with just an art car in the grass. 😂

Why did they put DEORRO in cosmic meadows that is such a big hazard for people. It was so packed and I am pretty sure with slander?
For real! That was the only time I felt overcrowded the whole weekend. My group caught about 2 minutes of Deorros set before saying F this, let’s go somewhere else.
Yeah we left we couldnt even get to VIP entrance. Slander was packed too on Day 1 😮

I heard the crowd at Cosmic Meadow for Deorro and Slander was intense. I have been at that stage before when it's super packed, and I get why it felt like a hazard. It once got to a point where I made the executive decision to bail, it was not worth it for me. It was when Post Malone was a special guest at Cosmic Meadow. Hopefully, they’ll take that into consideration for future lineups to avoid such overcrowding. Thanks for sharing Mark!

HI IT ME! Of course you start the stream as I leave work, so I'm catching up after you've finished. Tried to make this feel organized haha. I flew home on Tuesday after EDC and right back to work on Wednesday. It was a rough few days haha. Glad to have met you at all 3 meetups! I have already put down my deposit for next year and reserved my hotel for $1300 for a week on the middle of the strip Horseshoe. Pre-ordered the 2025 shirt they released today too. The design is super different and new for EDC. New layout did a lot to help for the crowd control. All water stations were so packed on day 1, I waited until probably 8 or 9 to fil up my Camelbak. Maybe it was just me, but it felt like there were more places to sit. From the amount of picnic tables, and the benches built around the trees. I never had a problem finding a spot to sit and rest. I think Powerline Path was partly so crowded because it was the first walkway that you got to when getting off the shuttles. So people just turned there and headed down to the other end that way. You could definitely noticed when a few shuttle buses would show up with the fluctuating crowd. The trolling of Grimes by both Seven Lions and Deadmau5 was hilarious. It is interesting with the larger crowds, that they also dropped initial prices for next year. My guess with the expanded VIP areas, they are selling more VIP tickets than they used to making more profits on those, and needing to sell less on the GA/GA+ tickets. Hopefully they don't keep increasing that as VIP areas still jutted out and impacted GA areas causing bottlenecks. Upgrading to GA+ next year due to cheaper price. Not sure its worth it, but eh. It will be my 10th EDC. May splurge for VIP in 2026 for their 30th anniversary. Not sure I'll be able to make it to their 40th or 50th years haha. Will have to see how to body holds up. -I noticed that since this was my 9th year, all of the stage designs represented at Kinetic were the years that I have gone. The 4 on either side, and this year's middle circle. -I was kinda disappointed in what felt like the decreased use of LED screens at Circuit Grounds and Wasteland. Circuit Ground felt like it was missing one more extension on either side. Over the last couple years I have noticed the stages being a bit shorter which I'm sure is to wind concerns. Maybe the less us of LEDs has something to do with it also? -They had some camera time on the DJs at Kinetic, but it was in the flower like designs on the side and it had part of the pedal edges crossing over the screens. -I liked the raised platforms in Bionic Jungle that anyone could access. Gave it a more spaced feel. -I asked my friend who works for Dreamstate on if they covered Neon Garden to make it feel more "warehousey", and he said it was more to make it feel back to basics. Didn't quite sit right with me due to how many lights they rigged from front to back in there. It is true, you could not see the fireworks when inside Neon Garden and Quantum Valley. -Meta Pheonix definitely got hurt with sound bleed from Circuit Grounds. It got better after you left and me and the other guy moved more to the left and closer up. -KEPIK was Friday night 3am. Very much a similar style to Seven Lions. He was talking about possibly rebuilding his set and uploading it somewhere. -I was surprised they were able to get all of the Downtown EDC in the middle. I checked out YeeDC and saw a couple "episodes" of "Up To Date". Its a fun little distraction when you need a break. House of Dunkin needed more donuts. They ran out too quick! There were only 2 per bag, had to get there early. Not a coffee drinker so didn't try any of them. For those who wear a fanny pack, I wear my extra kandi on that. I can only fit a few on my wrists, and one girl said it was such a good idea as she walked past me because her arms were sweating so much. This may be the only time I can say I got pics with 3 EDC DJs while at EDC: KEPIK, Miyuki, ARMNHMR. Night 1 I saw the fireworks from Kinetic and there wasn't any choreographed music. There was some however on day 3. Did you also notice that the drones said spelled out the greeting messege backward one night? Sunday also felt more crowded this year because for the first time they sold Sunday only tickets. They definitely know less people generally show up on Sunday vs the other two days. I had Grand Prix Premiere shuttle. Other than on the way back for the first night, it was good. For some reason it was like they didn't allocate enough shuttles or something. I had the 6am time slot, but didn't get on the shuttle until 7am. I could definitely see the crowd in the standard shuttle lines still there as we pulled away though. I did the opening ceremony and when we got there, they had the regular shuttle parking lot blocked off with cones so no shuttles could enter. Our driver didn't hesitate to follow the others around the speedway. But it was about a 20 minute walk to my bed in the Horseshoe Hotel. Not quite as close as last year, but still good. My hotel roomate tried to go early on Sunday like we did Saturday (arrive by 6ish), but the 2 closest lots were full by the time he got there due to all the rested and new Sunday only attendees. But it only took us about an hour from our hotel, to a liquor store, pick up his sister, and arrive to the lot on Saturday. He was also able to make it from the lot, dropped off his sister, and back to our room in 1 hr after night 2. He made amazing time haha. I believe he parked in the closest Brown Lot night 2. EDC Mexico VIP is cheaper than Vegas GA. I had shitty reception all weekend with T-Mobile. Couldn't even get the free headliner wifi to load when in Downtown EDC. Worse experience with that in all 9 years. 2021 EDC was awesome as well because the attendance was so low. You could walk halfway up into the Kinetic crowd area before you hit the back of the crowd. I ran into people I knew at random from home in the Bay Area and other areas on all 3 nights. Some I hadn't even seen in 3-4 years. There were even some people who recognized me from the Bay Area whom I didn't now that said hi. Its always an amazing feeling when it happens simply due to how many people are there. That always makes for special moments. Whoops this was a lot more than I though haha.

Flying home Tuesday and jumping back into work Wednesday-major props for powering through that! Stoked that you've already secured your ticket for next year and got that new shirt design. Where did you preorder?? And, $1300 for a week on the Strip is a solid deal! I totally agree that the new layout improved crowd control significantly. And I heard the water station lines on Day 1 were intense! The ones in KF VIP were so long, we didn't bother all night. Having more places to sit was definitely a plus, especially near Pixel Forest. You’re spot on about the Power Path, that makes a lot of sense. By Day 3, we opted to take Rainbow Road, and it was much more spacious earlier in the day. I saw the trolling of Grimes from Deadmau5 on YT! 😂 It's interesting about the ticket pricing. You might be right about the expanded VIP areas influencing the cost. GA+ for next year sounds like a good move, especially since it's your 10th EDC-definitely something to celebrate! VIP for the 30th anniversary sounds epic; and we’ll have to see how our bodies hold up for those future EDCs! We might do VIP Day 3 + Salvage City for a shorter and less demanding experience 😅. I loved seeing the old stage designs in the stained glass, that was so sick! And, you're right, Circuit Grounds and Wasteland were lacking in LED screens this year. Maybe it’s a wind issue, or something else they’re trying out. Maybe it opens up more dance floor area, increasing capacity? The raised platforms in Bionic Jungle were a nice touch, making the space feel more open. As for Neon Garden, I get the "back to basics" vibe they were aiming for, but I agree, it felt more like a light show than a warehouse. Meta Phoenix and Circuit Grounds sound bleed was a challenge, but glad it got better when you moved. Thanks for the tip on KEPIK; I’ll have to check out more of his stuff! Downtown EDC in the middle was quite the feat! House of Dunkin running out of donuts was a bummer though; gotta get there early next time! Hope they come back next year! Wearing extra kandi on a fanny pack is genius! It’s those little tricks that make a big difference. I contemplated using a snowboarding belt in a sash style 😅. Getting pictures with KEPIK, Miyuki, and ARMNHMR-what a score! Add that to your plethora of other dope photos with artists!! The fireworks at Kinetic were great, though that backwards greeting was a funny slip-up. But maybe it was for marketing? I was telling Monica maybe they're taking photos from a drone or helicopter on the opposite side of the stage. So it would say the words facing the speedway? 😅 Sunday felt packed with the single-day tickets, and shuttle logistics always have room for improvement. Sounds like you managed to navigate it well despite the hiccups. All part of why I opt to leave early most of the time 😆. EDC Mexico VIP being cheaper than Vegas GA is wild! We're seriously considering EDC Mexico in 2025. Sorry to hear about the poor T-Mobile reception. Connectivity is always a gamble. 2021 was truly unforgettable 😅. That sweater weather was nice! Running into familiar faces and making new connections is what makes EDC so special. It’s those moments that make the festival unforgettable. Just like meeting you!!! This year brought me back to 2015 which was my first time at EDC! I recorded but it was such bad quality so I'm happy that I got a new video camera this year to record lol Hope everyone had an epic time!
