Do you grow grapes? And if so how often do they fruit
@ourfoundationspodcast5008 Жыл бұрын
We have done grapes and they would fruit once a year. Muscadines do very well too and we ended up having our grapes get taken over by the muscadine vine so I don't reccomend planting them near each other.

Just subscribed to a fellow Southeast Tennessean. We just moved to Tellico Plains from up north (for many reasons) but also planning on homesteading. Have over 3 acres and really enjoy seeing what grows and how to grow it in this environment. We have a large pasture with hay but also a lot of clay. Maybe one day we can meet up and exchange seeds or something. Good luck and God bless.

Yeah, we have a ton of clay here too- hence the raised beds. Since you're kind of in the area, you may be interested in a local group that has many homesteaders- mostly within an hour of Chattanooga but some people come from Atlanta, Nashville, etc. chattanoogavoluntarysociety.com/

I mostly just release a a podcast each week and it is available on most any podcast player or through the website, www.ourfoundation.podbean.com. I'm also writing a book on the theology of obedience and the relationship between the Christian and the state as well as another book on historical patterns. They won't be published anytime soon though.

I've been studying Strauss and Howe for a long time and you did a pretty good job of presenting their theory, except for one thing. You kept repeating that this and that is 50 years. No. That is not correct. Turnings and phases of life and generations are all about 20 years long. And since this is a 4 part cycle, that means a full cycle will be about 80 years
@ourfoundationspodcast50082 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for the correction. I must have remembered it wrong and will make a correction announcement in the next episodes. I should also be able to add a note to the show notes of this episode too.

10:20 This is not totally correct. Through brainwashed media propaganda they are forcing Authoritarianism onto the people masqueraded as a benevolent society with peak efficiency, where all men are created equal except some elite are more equal than others. So long as they are our unelected rulers then they are more than happy to have a rigged system where they are absolved of all the rules, surveillance, resource rationing and loss of freedoms imposed on the general public. These are globalist tyrants who care only about power through the Hegelian Dialectic of problem, reaction, solution. They create the problem and then wave us towards a solution which benefits them. As George Carlin states, “It’s a big club and you ain’t in it.”
