To be honest, I'm not impressed at all with the quality of the mesh topologies produced by Quad Remesher. I have a lot of different 3D scans, and not one of them it failed, the quality is terrible. The big problem is the holes in the model. Tried different parameters, doesn't help. I see other people like you, everything is fine. Hmm... Why it doesn't work for me, maybe it's because I'm special. I don't understand why the developers of this addon are asking for money, if their piece of code is not able to fulfill the task it was designed for!
what about on mac?
Thanks.
Nice vid. But the metallic and roughness doesnt display on the model's material. I mean it changes nothing when I change the value. I do everything exactly as you do. Blender 3.6.4
You must attach the script to the game object as a component. You can do this by dragging the script from the assets to the inspector, when the game object is open in the inspector.
How would you export this for slicing? If you just do a regular export, the slicing software (Cura for me) just sees separate parts. It's no longer an assembled product.
Wow after using Daz studio models I had the balls to actually sculpt something from scratch. Thanks to this video, I had that fear disappear
For some reason, I cannot change the lengths at all. I don't know why
What was the key command for making the arc?
Just used the finger piece from the trigger finger section of my glove inserts, works perfect
(edit, today when i looked in render mode it works now, I was probably just stupid or blinded by frustration. leaving this comment up because i dont believe in deleting mistakes.) at 3:52 all the detail disappears. I assume the map is not applying for some reason. * my image node is set to the correct image. * it is set to non color *everything is plugged exactly as shown in vid. * I fiddled with extusion and baked several times. given I can SEE the texture in the image editor I know it is baking properly. *both meshes are in the exact same place. *I selected it in the same order. * no hidden meshes * I unwrapped it before starting. I hate being the Idiot asking "how do normal map werk?" in a 3 year old comment section but goddamn i have searched everywhere and i cant find out why I cant even normal map a shitty cube.
Man I've been searching for exactly this for so long! Thank you so much man. Life-saver.
Thank you very much you really helped me!!!
This tutorial helps me allot but I want the same thing for adobe substance painter, can you please do the same with adobe substance painter?
COOOOOOOOL!!1
Funky lille creature
I love you, I absolutelly love you. Thank you!
Where are you? You stopped uploading here
Doesn't work sadly
How do I get the info text appearing at the lower left corner?
no 20min of speed up footage with air rape music, clear and simple tutorial.
Can we bake multiple objects for a once for a scene?
your tool is not working, everytime I get this error "jremesh: path to instant meshes is missing."
Hey, i face some problems. So i want to change my sprite animation transition, but when i click the transition arrow there's nothing just a message "Entry transition (displayed in grey) are not previewable, please change state transition (displayed) in white to preview the animation" Any idea how to fix this?
thank you
links to other videos appear in the middle of the things. Certainly a bug of youtube and not a feature?
I wish there was a CAD app like this for Android
thank you so much, man! clearest explanation ever!
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing!!!
Great tutorial. this is the 3rd I'm watching and it's the best. explains what, why and where, simple and without talking around other non related. Thank you!
It is not working for me. My character that uses CharacterController does not stick with the platform.
If the mesh has complex shape , blender should find a way to make mesh into lattice so it can directly work like that idk
good!
THX for the help :)
Can't download addons...
there is no bake option for blender 4.0
A rifle would be much more interesting! Two hands !
when i export to zbrush it imports all meshes separatley as tools not subtools, what should i do??
I was struggling with baking cloth normals in Substance painter for the past 2 days, error after error or they just didnt look right. I watched your video and installed your add on. It baked it perfectly in one click on the first try I cannot thank you enough for what you do
Trying this but with Blender v4.02. UI is different. Is there an updated version of this tutorial? Thank you 🙂
How do I do it if I want to make a linear servo out of variuos parts, like it has a rod, bolt holder, casing, and a dc motor, and a few other little pieces, but the linear servo is part of a bigger project (a robotic arm) and I want them all to later be connected so that I can actually move the arm within freecad. How do I organize it all as far as bodies, parts, and all that?
Anyone have advice? Googling and ChatGPT'ing whether animator can move something on physics update seems inconclusive. I have a physics based game, and if animator is moving it (effectively) as per Translate, that causes issues with fast moving physics. Translate and our game's physics movements had had issues before... ChatGPT suggested that you can go script calls in FixedUpdate, which is more work and still potentially an issue, and requires a programmer or ChatGPT helping.
thank you sooo much
The name 'Open' does not exist in the current context
it is not creating a krom folder and the kha thingy doesnt work
Thank you for these videos! I am printing my first part thanks to you! It's for my new storage shed that was missing a door guide, but hopefully not for long! 😃
Normal Maps will always amaze me.
only problem with this otherwise very well done tutoriql is that my MAC OS 12.7.4 download yesterday has different toolbars making if hard to see your thoughts. I am a long time user of AutoCad from version 9 on PC base ( nearly all typed commands), a proprietary cad program called Prime Medusa and Sketch up as well. So I need a way to find the items you describe. But I am getting old.
The preferences menu is located as a pull down from the FreeCad tab on the mac menu to left of "edit" and "file" on Mac computers.
Do you stil have a copy of this the deveoper locked his gumroad page and doesn't allow downloads anymore. There are a ton of Destructive Extrude(dot)py files on his Blender post. I tried them all but none of them worked on Blender 2.79b. Kinda sucks he should've at least let his project be downloadable for us lower version users. I cannot use Blender 2.8 cause of how old my PC is but having addons that mimic Blender 2.8 tools are nice. Thanks in advance if you ever reply to this.
Thanks! I like this tutorial!
