Hi!! New subbie here! I love your channel! I was wondering what font you used for the cursive posters? I am having such a hard time finding the right cursive for my posters! I want to make my own as well instead of buying them! Thank you so much!

Hello from Ohio. I see you and other teachers are always seem to go through a lot paperwork for your students. Your setups seem to be a lot more work than the teachers I grew up having. Of course, we did not have the tech or white boards. Our teachers had blackboards, overhead projectors and regular bulletin boards. Anyway have a great day today 😊.

When you need to make something magnetic, use magnetic tape. Your door area works for the calendar, but you could move it in the future by using magnetic tape. Aww, sweet that your students want you to read to them more!

I do Class Dojo, as well. But I'm changing how I do it this coming year. 1) Last year, I had a chart with the amount of each reward pisted on the wall. I let them keep their points, and as they got to a certain amount, they let me know, and I gave it to them. I didn't realize that there's a redemption button until after I had promised them never to take their points away ( unless ut was for bad behavior). Some kids had over 1,000 points. I think that made them unmotivated. When they earn a prize, I will deduct them from their total, keeping their balance lower. I think that will motivate them more. 2) I was never sure if they liked the rewards I had. So, I made a survey from Google forms asking what they think of different kinds of rewards ( kinds of candy, lunch bunch, cute school supplies, homework passes). When I get the results from those, I'll make an informed rewards price list.

Back board idea - We Are Family at the top or in the middle and then add each child's picture along with yours - you all can create fun poses, and everyone would cut out their pose picture. You can even have them glue it on to colored paper, create a border/outline of their picture/pose shape - leaving some space so that they will have a colored outline. The title can also be We Are Room (insert room number). Love you set up videos!!! Thanks for sharing. Will you be creating a planbook flip through - or simply just sharing what planbook you'll be using this school year? Just wondering. 😊

I created them in PowerPoint! I used a font called Artsy Blueberry Coffee from "The Artsy Apple" on TPT. I made it just a thin outline of each letter, so that I could print them on AstroBrights paper and laminate/cut them each out! Would probably be easier with a Cricut, I just don't own one. 😊

@@teachwithchels Great idea. I always put small binder clips on my calendars, then I use the metal loop part of the binder clip to go on the command hook. As long as the binder clip is big enough to fit on the command hook, it works and I have never had a problem. In fact, it reduces the chance the hook rips the holes and you don't have to redo the hooks.
