Why are only the front windows power and not the rear windows?
I’m looking to buy one of these in the spring. I love these cars & they are much easier to fix than new cars
Convertible top must not work
Did they sell power windows in pairs in those days?
Apparently because the ones I saw on you tube had all four windows electric.
@@Laszlo-b8kI imagine whoever restored this Pontiac fitted front power windows. By 1960, cars had all the windows powered. The only car I recall having power front windows and manual rear was the 1954 Chevy BelAir. That was the first year for a power window option on a Chevy and I believe all windows were powered in 1955 jf power windows were optioned.
My fathers' 1964 Catalina had the same colors inside the cabin.
Just subscribed. My wife Debbie has a 60 Catalina 4 door sedan. Complete ca rno parts missing. Sadly It set from 1970 till 2018. and sank to the ground. And the bottom 6 inches is rusted. We are looking for a solit 4 door body
A friend of mine had a white one with a black top and interior. We were double dating in it on Christmas eve. Sitting at a stop light . It started walking a noise like a valve clicking . And locked up . But the real shocker was this car had well over 200,000 miles on it at the time. He had it towed to the family farm. I rode with him . To my shock , there were dozens of family owned cars, trucks, tractors from the twenties to that day in 1969 .Stored in one field . They never got rid of anything. Duke Power bought the property in the 80's , scrapped everything !
Aw go ahead start it and take a deep breath and think to yourself and now deep THOUGHTS!
Beauty 😍!!!
My grampaw had a 1963 Pontiac station wagon. My sister and I would hop over the rear seat and chase each other around on our hands and knees on that big rear deck. It was fun.
Is that a 455 rocket 😊

Beautiful car. Would be even more beautiful if it ad the correct wide white wall tires.
Gorgeous example of Pontiac's ability' Everything they produced in the '50s and '60s were knockouts in styling and performance.
Never thought about the glass breaking.
A/C is non-factory....added recently.
You are 100% right
Terrible camerawork.
Pontiac had the best interiors especially in the 60s.
A real car Not today's plastic fantastic junk built today.
Wow
THAT IS A REAL CAR....NONE OF THIS CRAP THEY MAKE TODAY.
Nice phantom had a orange and white one back in the late 80s in college
What were you asking if you dont mind me asking
just under 40
Dave...is this car for sale...it's just like my first car....?
Yes, it is..however there is a deposit on it currently.
I had a twin to this vehicle, except mine had all vinyl upholstery.
mines got the vinyl too!
Somebody put awful upholstery in that nice car.
❤✨
Like that blue color.
Not cream. "Old man tan" !
Nice merc!!!!❤
This car looks like a dressed up Standard model, or a January 1942 "Blackout" model that has been given some pre Blackout trim.
'Promo sm' ☀️
Love the colour
MY DAD HAD A 41, THOSE ARE NOT ACTUALLY TURN SIGNALS IN THE FRONT FENDERS, THOSE ARE PARKING LIGHTS, THE CONTROL ON THE STEERING WHEEL ARE AFTERMARKET ADD ON. JUST LIKE DADS. A smart thing to do in the 50s.for safety.
Take my word for it
An Incredibly Beauuutiful Car!💕
Lovely car. I've seen a '56 Ford Fairlane 500 (blue and white) but the '57 is definitely nicer with more chrome detail and the angled rear fins and nicer dash.
What a beautiful car
I had one that I bought used when I was a kid. The funnest truck that I’ve ever had. It was stock, but it had more airtime than pan am & Alaskan airlines. The best acoustics for a subwoofer than anything I’ve ever had & turned on a dime. Plus it hauled bananas ! I really was in love with that truck.
Get another one. Its still just as awesome.
I have one for sale $13K in ventura ca,
My 63 Fleetwood was a higher quality car with superior trim, lighting and lighted chrome door pulls that the 64 lacked. Much higher quality car than the 64.
great truck.
Another lucky soul got a '42 Ford. WW2 brought car production to a standstill. Just to have a new car in that day put you one bit ahead of the other guys and dolls. 😅😅
Wrong center caps. My Dad bought a '68 Riviera new in '68. Which I got & drove to high school in the mid '70's.
Cars sells them opgi also here in CALIFORNIA SoCal 😊
Beautious Maximus!
I have a nearly identical car. Mine has a black interior and top. Love it!
Hey Dave hope all is well! Trying to do more research on Bronco and maybe even buy one as a project piece. Came across your video, it was awesome. Keep doing what you're doing!
Had a '68 in high school in '87. Same color. Exceptional car!
Dave thanks for the imfo. i thought they didn't make them in 1942 because of the war effort I'm 79 years old, guess you learn everyday a beautifull car. MADE IN AMERICA.
'42 was a WWII. Ford quit making cars after Pearl Harbor
The 1942 cars were introduced in the fall of 41, not January 1942. This is an American car, not a Japanese car.
I WISH I COULD HAVE OWNED IT VERY NICE
