I started this channel to document my journey to the Olympics and show the behind-the-scenes of my life. Now that I am an Olympic silver medalist and my dreams have been achieved, I am retiring from gymnastics and have moved back to Utah to finish school! Jonas and I are going to keep the channel going and show you all the cool things we do as I transition from being a full-time athlete to living my life the way I want to.

I mean this with all the kindness in the world: the remarks you made about being the only one bringing money in at the moment not only shouldn’t have been said (because they come across as mean, even if said in a playful way) but also shouldn’t have made it into the video, because as a viewer it just makes me feel awkward and like I’m listening to what should be a private conversation. This reminds me a bit of when you said Japanese food was gross and got so much pushback in the comments that you guys re-edited the video to take the comments out, rather than them not needing to be in the video in the first place. (Nothing wrong with just not liking Japanese food of course but there seems to be a pattern here for MyKayla saying things that should be just sent in the group chat and not said out loud for all to hear lol)

Your lip fillers and hair extensions look terrible. The fillers have shifted and your lips are uneven. Why are you teaching your daughter to be ashamed of the body she was born with? And you didn't need to leave a restaurant to nurse a baby. It's legal to nurse anywhere it's legal for you to be.
Make sure she’s very well burped. Take how ever long it takes to make sure she’s burped super super well after each feeding side. Use baby gas drops after every feeding. When she’s in pain do a tummy massage. One also is bicycle legs. You can KZread the method. Good Luck! You got this! -BTW I have had my own daycare for 19 years, was a live in-nanny for years, and a mom of 2. Also I’m a Gilbert, AZ mama!

Loved this video, I coached Gymnastics and NZ & would like to know more about the tape you use to make tape grips. The one I use is very hard to tear off. Also I like to know more about the rubber band setup on your grips, can you explain it a little more, are they special grips to get the rubber band around the dowel?

You should get the Babyzen Yoyo for when Lottie can sit in a stroller. It’s hand luggage and can go in the overhead locker. And has a shoulder strap for carrying it like a bag. You can then put baby in it on landing, and push the stroller down aisle of the plane. Super handy. Great for towns and cities too. Think it’s 10lbs too ❤

Oh wow it seems just yesterday you were holding newborn Lottie saying “I can’t wait until she’s 4 months old” because her digestive system may sort itself out a bit by then… how time flies ❤

Interesting take. Do you believe that it's a form of maltreatment or a form of mild fetishism?
“Always putting down” more like passive aggressively expressing her feelings. One video after her birth she said that Jonas just nudges her to get up with the baby at night and said she wished he get up sometimes. Another time, he couldn’t handle being alone with the baby for 10 minutes in the car while mykayla was in a store so he called her to come back. One day Jonas didn’t want his mom to come help MyKayla during the night so MyKayla could get extra sleep yet Jonas wasn’t the one getting up for the baby. They posted a video (I think on insta) when the baby had a blowout he said “help you’re right there you can do it” and then MyKayla said “no, you can do it.” I remember all these things cause they irked me so much so I can’t imagine how she feels. Dad’s are notoriously known for being incompetent at times (by choice) when all it takes is just common sense and some effort. Some dad’s don’t even try things first without asking their partner to do it. I get it he’s a beginner dad, but she is also a beginner mom. These videos are just a snippet of their life, and we don’t see a lot of what actually goes on. And if these moments were caught on camera, I wonder what happens off camera. I could tell she had some sort of blues or depression after her birth and his reaction of “you’re doing fine” when she expressed sadness was dismissive, and didn’t really address how she was feeling. However, Makayla seems much happier now and I’m sure Jonas is a good dad. If you noticed her “putting down” Jonas, maybe consider that she has built-up frustration and stress ? Maybe it’s because she expects a little more? no hate! Just an opinion made on a public video.

Don't worry too much about how hard it's going to be. The good news is that your body will bounce back pretty quickly once you get back into a routine and consistent training, and that's because of all the previous work you've put into yourself. Your muscles will adapt faster than if you were a beginner and you'll be back to where you want to be in no time ♡ just take it slow and stay safe, focus on your form and building your strength back up. The rest will follow!

You literally just watched 17 minutes worth of several blips of their day over 24 hours that you obviously didn’t pay attention to because Lottie was on the floor playing in her gym. How about just shut up and watch, or don’t watch. But don’t ever tell a parent how to care for or raise their child. Where do you get off thinking that’s your place? As a parent myself, people like you disgust me.

I had to laugh when you mentioned that Jonas doesn't like Target. My husband is the same way. When we first go in, he'll pretend to cough like he's allergic to the store.
