  Pls avoid these mistakes when sewing for kids. Is the front-seam just as long as the seat seam at the back, then the seat length is missing and wrinkles form at the front. The waistband is way too high in the front and way too low in the back. There is also a lack of length in the crotch and the pants are uncomfortable.

  The elastic should be the round waist measurement minus 2 or 3 example if the waist measurement is 24 then plus 2 or 3 from it which will give 21 so the length of the elastic you will fix will be 21 inches...hope it help
