Great video, thank you! Better not to get involved however, with people who scratch or mark the car, cause next time they simply do larger damage. The great point of R/Ts, that they have backup camera, so no need to install 3-rd party camera. For the dash cam, yes, something required. Trying to do some researches.

The video is good, informative, but the conversation with daughter sounds like humiliating a bit. Anyway, unfortunately this camera is bit pricey and requires some actions that wouldn't be advised by manufacturer, as disassembling the air-bag storage.

I would have walked at $495 for all weather floor mats. I can guarantee this person would not walk into Walmart and pay $495 for floor mats. So why pay that just because they are added on to a new car? because they know emotionally you are already attached to the car, might as well soak as much as possible out of you.

Came to this video again after one year. Unfortunately, couldn't find proper camera to have balanced price and ease of installation. Just for test tried to pull the interior of my Charger, but seems to be it glued there and un-detachable, while running cable simply down to lighter - looks ugly. Will have to research more...

I work in Diesel truck field and emission can be royal pain. But EPA has never said you're limit to this power or can't have V8. Only that you have to meet this standard which EPA doesn't have power to do but they think they can. With Supreme court ruling now strips power from agencies that never had in the first place. True Congress has become lazy and "let" executive branch run things especially when its their party that's president. Bullshit claim President agenda to shape the country NOOOOOO. President job to enforce laws and work with other branches keyword work with. Not do make up regulations or policies then treat them as laws to set fines and jail time. Court also said not going to rehash all past court cases either. From this day going forward that matters. Everyone we're going to sue and get DPF removed and EPA can't do nothing about it. Not going to happen unless next President throws out all Regulation that EPA made up. There laws that are law passed under Bush and Obama setting emission standards Like right now Cummins has X15 liter engine at it highest power level is 605 hp and 2050 tq that sold in trucks. But they have X15 liter test engines running around making 750 and 1000hp that meet current emission standards. They are used for validation of parts because it stress them harder

how about making a "performance car" for 40,00 that can do 0-60 in say 5 seconds, quarter in 13, and top out at 150. then they would sell a ton of them. your average guy cant afford 80 to 100k

Here's a couple serious points. For one, using DEF in diesels is just a feel good measure. It doesn't reduce carbon in the exhaust, just keeps it from being visible as exhaust. DEF is also urea based which is itself a very potent fertilizer. My guess is in a few years the land and waterways will be choked off by insane plant growth, very much like when we had phosphates in laundry detergent before that was banned. Secondly, these huge fines to the gubmint of course is passed down to the consumers. These illegal fines should be reimbursed with interest, but instead of going to the automakers, they should go to the people who bought the cars.as a refund/rebate. Of course the automakers need to recoup their costs to administer the fine process as well, at maybe 5% of what they paid. Third, we need to disband organizations like CARB as they are treading on federal territory, kind of like an annoying HOA dictating your work/sleep times. I understand the need for some emission controls, but they must make sense. Outlawing ALL ICE engines in a state should also be stopped. (OK, Cali should just be pushed out to sea) Now if we can only get the rest of those intrusive 3 letter agencies defanged, we might be able to live a lot more peacefully.

I own a 2015 Dodge Dart GT. It was a risk buying a Dodge, but it has served me well for 85,000 miles so far. If I was in the market for a car right now, I’d give the Hornet a hard look. I’d be nervous as hell to buy it based on Dodge’s rep, but I would very tempted. I LOVE this style and the performance is fantastic 🤩. FWIW, my other car is a 2024 BMW X4, another sporty, small SUV. The size would be similar, but the Hornet is even faster.

Ok the insane BS forced upon the auto industry is one thing. But the way the epa and dept of the interior has been running rough shot on water rights and other such land usage among small farmer and regular home owners in some instances has really gotten out of hand!

No great loss if all the chrysler/dodge/plymouth junk disappears. They haven't had a drop of quality since the 70's. This from a 45 yr career as a mechanic so don't tell me how you loved your Omni or Aries K or caravan that ate a transmission every 6 months.

the funny thing is Musk shared the tesla technology so everyone could develop EVs and the typical dick measuring contest of i can do it better happened and dodge and other brands basically tried to do it better without using the recipe that’s proven

It would be cool if it was like back in the day when you just go to the dealership get out the order sheet and pick out a car and the options vs someone somewhere guessing packages and it's a compromise game of what you want what you don't want and what you want to pay. Besides that's how we vintage cars that are really cool rare optioned cars, like all the top shelf go fast parts in a stripped or lower level trim ect. Like a BBC 4 speed nova with hubcaps

Build your cars out of America, good for you to sell them wherever you are building them. If you consider exporting them here in the US, they should be hit with 70% to 100% tariff charges. Only incompetent CEOs blame their employees, instead of themselves, for their failed business decisions. Stellantis is obviously led by utterly incompetent management. And why pay a CEO $40M annually when he/she is leading a company toward a precipice? Stellantis can go ahead and build their ugly cars in ... where? Italy, Mexico, Vietnam, ..., wherever they want.

Okay I live in north central Indiana . FCA build a transmission plant in Tipton Indiana. It has been a disaster. Never lived up to the hype. I think it is closed now. I heard a rumor a few months ago that Stellantis was going to start building parts for flying cars in that plant.
