  So do these blind other drivers like the dumbass’ cars who have HID’s in halogen housing lights? Without the cutoff or a projector housing headlight, I don’t see how these will magically cut to light the road and not blind oncoming traffic

  I’m sorry what???? You can’t “go back” and “restore settings” if you mess up. It’s purely settings for your cable. If you mess up in VCDS and store in the car’s system, it’s stored and there is no “restore settings”. You’ll have to find where you messed up and fix it yourself.

  you’re DRL’s can be turned off with pulling the E-brake in Park. don’t know about manuals.

  Hi nice video I brought some katur led headlight for my vauxhall insignia 2011 .. when I fitted the led headlight, with the same adapter what you show in the video.. the led headlight doesnt fit properly it's a little bit loose .. I put some rubber gasket to make little bit better....does any black electrician tape is good to putting on back of the adapter headlight to make sure the led don't get looser I hope you understand what I mean thank you ..

  Options/Test does 'not' back up your files, as you stated @7:30. It saved the OBD2 connection and interface is all. Also, folks, keep in mind that this was 5 yrs ago, and VCDS is now on v23.3 (as of today) and a lot of these functions he's doing are more intuitively named, and the door ding is a separate thing (depending on the model/yr)

  This is the best example I’ve seen on KZread so far!! Quick question if I may? I ordered some Anyhow LED’s from eBay and wondering if I could use my original light bracket for them? They didn’t mention any other bracket so I’m kinda wondering about that now. Guess I can fish around and see if it would work. Thanks!

  My only issue with DRL’s is some vehicles don’t bring the rear lights on when in DRL mode. Because dashboards are so well illuminated these days, people assume their lights are on and in adverse conditions or bad light the fact they have front lights only only is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. People forget to turn lights on so why not just forget about sidelights and have DRL’s that have the rear lights on as well and then main headlights when required. Volvo preempted DRL’s by decades by just having their lights on sidelights permanently until main headlights were required. There was no option for no lights, this was the subject of much derision at the time but it’s now considered the safe thing to do. Nice video.

  i have a 2021 jetta gli autobahn, i have obd adapter (carista-if your familiar with that at all) it does not give me the option for lane change which the default is set to 3, can this be changed to 5 ? thru the vcds ?

  you dont need to change the VCI interface if you want more VIN's you just upgrade your current VCI to enthusiast - 10 VIN or Proffesional - Unlimited 👍 i own the Hex Net Proffesional btw 👍

  The dinging isn’t so you remember your door is open, it’s to remind you your key is still in the ignition or that you left your lights on, so you don’t lock yourself out of your car, or so that you don’t leave your key in the car and have someone drive away with it.
