I lost my faith when Naasón Joaquín García pled guilty. Each day, the pain feels fresh as I ask myself, "Why? Why? Why?" My mind is a turmoil of confusion and sorrow. Did he truly confess to these heinous crimes, or was there another reason behind his guilty plea? If he was innocent, why would he declare otherwise? I struggle with these questions, feeling like my common sense is betraying me. My family views my doubts as a betrayal, deepening my emotional distress and isolation. The church insists on his innocence, yet his guilty plea stands. This contradiction is tearing me apart, making it impossible to reconcile my faith with the harsh reality. I've watched the documentaries, listened to the victims' harrowing testimonies in court, and felt their anguish. Their pain resonates deeply with me. Blind faith, once a refuge, now feels like a burden. Weighing all this, and knowing the doctrine preached by La Luz del Mundo, I realize that I desire salvation for my soul. But I also recognize that there are wolves in sheep's clothing. This painful awareness forces me to confront the stark reality, and in doing so, I choose to see the truth, no matter how difficult it may be.

I lived with a lot of guilt that didn’t belong to me and made me make decisions based on the understanding of my teen years because the “accusing” voice lived in my head and made me feel worthless. But by the grace of God and once I’m freed to share my story I will. And by the strength and grace of the Lord I am here. This sister is so relatable. I’ll be praying for her.
