    I've been using a sealed beam light for decades. My shop foreman convinced me a test light is adequate as long as it's not LED. I found out this week that it is NOT adequate when looking at a bad relay. I put two supercharger coolant pumps on with same results until I went back to my sealed beam. It would light up my test light, not the sealed beam. Quite a few choice words fer that one lol

    Fastest way to find a short is put power to the circuit and look for smoke.😬

    We were taught to do a half split on the circuitry to simplify the job. Basic trouble shooting here. And hint to save fuses while doing it, haa Good work, thanks.

    I've used the same method of using a test light to diagnose a constant short to ground, very effective. Once the test light is in place I've used a DC current-clamp to identify how far the short is traveling in the circuit. If I see the 5A (or however much my test light is drawing) on a given part of the circuit I know the short is further down the line, if I see 0A I know I'm past it.

    Hi can I use a manifold absolute pressure sensor from a car as a pressure transducer, ?

  • @JarheadDiagnostics
    @JarheadDiagnostics19 күн бұрын

    With an oscilloscope, you can use it as a delta style sensor. But as a transducer, technically yes, if you know the voltage scale. And it would only be for low psi reading. You could not use it as an in cylinder transducer.

    The worst video I've ever seen. Your voice doesn't come through very well. The diagram is too far away. You talk too fast. Watch your own videos. Use a script, if possible. Then critique your self, see if it seems passable. I was through before 1/3 of this video played. One other guy said you're awesome. You did a great job. You must have done something really nice for him, cause I think it's annoying mumbling. I'm also sorry I told you this, cause I don't want to hurt your feelings. Just review your videos before you publish them. I wish you great success in the future. You had a lot going on down on the carpet floor of that vehicle. Best wishes, friend.

    Hmm Could have been a great video. It's not because Branden keeps using the word "it" throughout the video which the listener can nit track (the problem isn't the speed if speech - he has perfect diction). However - addedto his being lazy and using the indefinite article "it" in place of saying the proper name of what he is refering to. I'd say Branden is a genious if he stops this lazy work product destroying "saying it" habit.. KNOW THAT at the beginning if the demonstration- where Branden explains the wiring diagrams indication of where the circuit goes Branden refers to the 3rd connecter "C3” and indicates locations if connectors 1,2 and 3 and says C3 is behind "it" - Branden is refering to ”the fuse box" when Branden states "C3 us behind (it). Branden also fails to clarify that the test lights Branden offers for sale at the end if the video are essentially a tiny positive and negative wire with tiny wire clamps that you can attach in tiny spaces (these little clamps and wires are attached to a light that will go on if attached to a (complete circuit aka a circuit with continuity). Ok - I am just finally beginning to comprehend electrucal circuit testing - what I have written here is my attempt to repeat what I think Branden is teaching us. Please reply to me if I got what the Brilliant Branden is saying - Thank you! 🥂
