Is that your real name?
@@joshdrean yes it is. I'm also a therian.
@@kyletrump8025 have fun with that
I bet this was an exact recording of the messages.
Something close to it
Haha! So funny, it's ridiculous where we're at
It'll get better
He's not joking.
Anyone who's lived it knows how true this is
I've always walked in like I owned the place day one. Never had an issue after that. I've had the PC clowns as bosses and always vehemently stood my ground against their leftoid insanity.
I've never worked for a company I felt safe at. It was like everyone is waiting for you to make a mistake and then they pounce.
And if you don't complete every ridiculous request, you'll look bad at promotion time
He's right about getting more and more detached from humanity. We saw it in wars previous to corporate life
Layer AI on top of that and things start to get really crazy
Some people want a career and some people just need a job.
A lot of people are just desperate to make a living right now
where are the first 3 parts??
This post was 10 years ago. How in the world did you find it?
"You don't get paid for how hard you work. You get paid by how hard you are to replace."
An age old adage. Especially in the age of AI, every employee needs to figure out how to come irreplaceable
the commentary isn't even actual commentary.
Just giving context
That's exactly right. She knew not to get stuck.
Glad she got out
Unfortunately corporations domt give a shit about collaboration, they only care about profits. Its important that a company makes profits for sure, but the problem comes from huge multi-billion corporations and conglomerates STILL not caring even when they dont have to worry aout profits
It's true, there's no incentive to take care of employees when shareholders are demanding returns every quarter
congrats on making it out of sesame street
Sunny days ☀️
Dumb
What would you do?
Didn’t have to give a self assessment in the comments, now what would you do in that situation?
This is gonna bite us all in the butt as technical skills are outsourced to AI. Like, what are we even good at anymore? I kind of wish I could just press a button in a factory and be able to afford a livable wage. Every company should be thinking of an ESOP.
AI is its own problem to solve. Did you hear Elon say that all jobs are going to be outsourced to AI and we'll only work as a hobby? Makes me think he doesn't understand the concept of how jobs work. Who's going to pay their rent?
I'm not in love with the idea that work was designed to keep us small and unskilled. that means that our college institutions teach us nothing and that we aren't capable of problem-solving. Not gonna lie, capitalism sounds like a raw deal for workers.
Yeah, no amount of culture initiatives are going to make up for the systemic challenges today's workplaces are experiencing
Most importantly, don't befriend your boss. They're never your friend. Keep things formal.
Agreed. The minute you fall into compliance and think they care about you is when the take advantage.
i wouldn’t exist if this didn’t happen😬
Well, in a retail store in a not big but not small community, you just know everyone.
Getting Chemo and still got laid off. That's the last straw for me. It's time to start standing up to terrible best practices.
Yeah, it's not getting better
Some corporations might think these comments are harsh, but it's the truth. It's time to stop normalizing how terrible these practices are.
I agree. For some reason these best practices are nonexistent in many corporations
Not loving this idea. I bet it turns into another corporate gimmick to keep us working longer hours.
Of course!
Omg
then get an address in a tiny overpriced resort town. that buddy in jackson that you have your address on your drivers license with just paid off
Great strategy
Based off your location lol? How about based off your value!!!
You speak a wise truth 😂
This is a double-edged sword. She was treated unfairly.
Will this bachelor in extension studies allow you to pursue an MBA at Harvard University?
I've seen this everywhere. Definitely crossed the line.
Work life balance on LI is exactly that...balance
Well there's no shame...I went and looked at the post, it's over 1000 reposts. Most comments are dragging him
Yeah, it's not great.
Ewwww
How this company ever got big is a mystery to me. They're so awful
OMG I used to think the same thing...until I fell in love with the waffle fries and CFA sauce 🤌
@@joshdrean The owners and executives still strongly dislike people like me, so I've never tried it.
@@zetazimmer4769 Ahhh, I get it. Yes, they definitely have some strongly rooted christian values that, in my opinion, need to be updated for a modern world.
Just goes to show you that companies don't care about an employees dreams, even if it will help the company.
It has to be their way only.
@@joshdreanum no, all companies have a policy against recording for media presence. Every job i’ve worked for they even say if someone from the news comes in to ask questions you can’t just openly respond. Especially with CFA being christian owned and operated company, they could care less about the monetary gain from people who wanna make a 60second video for views to “pull in more business” not everything needs to be recorded. Yall really be mad these companies dont care to watch you eat food online for views. You signed paper work during orientation, maybe actually start reading what you’re agreeing too before whining about it when you do something against what you agreed to
Seriously whoever is controlling chick fil a is dumb
I mean...they make a killer amazing chicken sandwich 🤷
Then he needs to learn a trade. You can't expect to make a so called living wage, while working an unskilled, entry level job.
It was a data analyst position and he has years of experience. He was paid $75k for the position a year ago.
Not a bad idea to learn a trade though
Well...NYC is not the standard. It's crazy there.
Very true.
I've watched her! She's so great.
Yes! And she's getting more endorsements
Maybe but only if they had a tree company
Free advertising....i love food so much ill review it for free and still work for you
Thattakid! Amazing how motivating a free meal can be.
Yeah, I'd say someone that Chick-fil-A corporate p. R is kicking their own a** right now. And who is in charge of PR is either gebring the new one by someone higher than him. Or he's getting fired if he's the one that decided to. Say something to her about not doing that. Because as far as I know, free advertisement is priceless, especially when it's a popular person on TikTok or KZread who is seen by hundreds of thousands of people a day and not just her subscribers are watching her but other people are washing there. I do I don't understand why companies get so upset when their employees do stuff like this, especially when it's helping the company. It'll be one thing, if it was negatively affecting the company. But I would say someone in the p. T teams going to get fired.
I'd say you are right, in most cases, except Chick-fil-a is a major corporation and doesn't rely on influencer marketing to push sales.
I had both Truett Cathy and Dan Cathy as sunday school teachers. I'm honestly surprised that Truett has not come out of his grave with his belt in hand to whip the crap out of his sons. I am heartbroken that they have bent the knee to the woke, satanic agenda. When you don't build it it you don't care for it. I'm glad this worked out for her. As for me I don't eat at Chick-fil-la anymore and you shouldn't either. They have chosen to go with toxic ingredients. They are no better than McDonalds now.
"take the stimulus checks, theyre free!" A few years later... "Oh did we say free? Nay, nay, we just just wanted to give inflation a big push"
Ouch, that's brutal
Go be a plumber.
The trades is becoming a popular option for the younger generation
Employers try not to crush the light of your employers???? Got that wrong there bud.
Ah, you caught me😅
I heard about this story all over YT!
It's making its rounds for sure. She's got more paid partnerships because of it
Like for the ones that will eat Shake Shack instead from now on
Customer loyalty through influencer marketing ❤
Screenwriters for one
Oof...
Some jobs are over paid as well .
When are they!? I want!
Congress... They need term limits, age limits, and salary limits applied
@@andrewdale290 term limits for sure
I earn my keep with my company have been for over 20 years.
Question is what skill do you people actually have? No one gonna pay someone good if they don’t have a skill hands down. Got to have something worthwhile for the employer
You highlight a real problem. Kids are leaving college without marketable skills. It's not their fault, they are just following the path...and surprised when no one wants to hire them.
