Very clear and concise and no better sounds than rockabilly surf and punk music from the gutter have a surfliner deluxe on order after watching this video and hope to pull some mind bending stuff out of it
I love the progression at 1130 with the links built into the chords! Its the essence of the surf simple elegence. Simple but not simplistic. Thanks for posting this! Can you write the name of the song at 1130? Its hard for me to hear it
this is superb
Bambi molesters are from Croatia. Messer Chups are propper russians.

Can you play kool flattop by horrorpops? Its so hard figuring out the tabs
Love the jade green Gretsch
Thank you for this video and the information given! I love this kind of music. I enjoyed your rockabilly video as well, but this music is much easier to play!
Grady Martin & Hank Garland were NOT present at the Gene Vincent recordings. Work on your research dude!!
Much thanks for this brother!
Thanks Harvey
this was just incredible it s so simplistically amazing .. I love it
It s tough to follow as i m not used to this style with all the open strings and hybrid picking
wow . that guitar sounds amazing . It s probably has alot to do with ur hands . This is inspiring .. Well done sir
That song by the Cellmates "Rockabilly Feeling" seems like a very example of this kind of music. I'm a bit surprised nobody has posted a lesson on it. If you would do one, I'd appreciate it. In the meantime I'll be trying out what this lesson covers. Thanks.

Awesome!!!!
This is brilliant. Tons of information and yet one of the most effective course on the subject. Many thanks
Finally, someone explained why it works. Cheers.
oh yeah just what i was looking for, much thanks
Great video and really cool guitar, perfect for surf. I wish I could find a lefty model like that !
congrats
Thank you, Harvey. You gave me some sources to look for inspiration. The rockabilly community are such slaves to musical correctness.
That was really helpful. Thanks man!
Not rockabillly but surf.
👍
I saw the Killer Klowns shirt and knew you had to know your stuff.
Haha, man somewhere in this house I have a KK ray gun and a mask. Spirit Halloween got a bunch of my $ when they did their KK feature a few years back.
What was the Am-G-F song? Pintour?
Yes. The version I'm playing is based off of Hawaii Samurai recording of Pintor. Not sure which album of theirs it is on, but their record called "the shape of surf to come" is killer, and every song on it is a home run. Sounds like they record most of their tunes with the amps absolutely cooking.
Great tutorial video - thanks Harvey! Love that Gretsch!! 💚💚💚
Bought myself a Pearl, a beautiful instrument!
Great video - learning surf and this really helped. Thanks Harvey! Watching rockabilly vids also, great stuff, subscribed!
Nice vid!
