These comments are hilarious!!! 😂He uses a big tooth pick as a Bo, and people say it’s because he is so powerful that he broke it.😂 Think about it… A - If he trains so often, he’d know his, ahem, power. B - If he can break his own stick, why use it? C - That stick couldn’t block anything, if it snaps on a fat belly. D - People will make excuses for anything.😂 It’s hilarious. E - We all know that stick is not a real Bo. He wouldn’t be able to swing it, let alone break it, if it was. This does not do proper martial arts any favours. It’s embarrassing.

Hey, karate competitor here with 30+ years of training. Try lifting your body off of yiur heels amd then falling. The idea is that it achieves the same goal as bouncing but takes less energy. It's fall, fall, fall, relax, relax ,relax. Give it a try. Fun video

I think you waste more energy bouncing up and down. For very light weight people, bouncing may be ok, but for bigger people, bad idea and might just get them into trouble.

This video is to help beginners start to learn point fighting. It teaches how to set up rhythm and timing and build momentum and builds the leg muscles for those types of movements. It's a very specific application and you don't train the same way at all levels.

Be very careful. Slow is smooth; and smooth is fast. YOU WILL CUT YOURSELF WHILE LEARNING TO CORRECTLY use THE KAMA or any sharpened bladed weapon. Do not pick the Kama up to practice unless you are 100% attentive and not feeling rushed or under stress. This is a wonderful representation of initial practice that leads to more complex combined movements. Remember: slow is smooth; and smooth is fast. The most fluid and smooth movements appear - visually - slow. Jerky movements appear fast but waste energy and are slower… …and you’ll cut yourself with jerky movements. Thank you! Awesome illustration!!!!!!!!

I trained with Sensei Nishime over twenty years ago and I still have moments during my practice when I say to myself, “That’s what Sensei meant when he said…”. Sensei Nishime is a world class martial artist and teacher. If you are serious about martial arts then don’t miss this rare opportunity to study with the best in the world! On a personal note: Hello to the Nishimes from Puerto Vallarta! This is Greg Tomlin. Is that really Jason? He’s grown into a fine young man. Best wishes and gratitude!

I have read in the magazine bugeisha that Shihan Nishime has spent a great time with his friend and my grandmaster Toshihiro Oshiro as they immigrated to the USA. It is good to know the backround of our masters and pionieers of our beloved martial art Karate. Stay safe, greetings from Germany 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
