Hello Sweet Mama🙏 What a lovely technique,banana bread has always been around home and is such a universal favorite . I wanted to say how much I love your tutorials Cream butter and sugar together. Add bananas and eggs. Combine dry ingredients, add to the mixture without overbeating etc and all of your experiments, it has taught me to not be afraid to experiment with baking. Gaithree, we make the same thing in Trinidad, but the batter is ground split peas and we call it Saheena, and eat it with mango chutney. ❤❤I never put it in the oven, only deep fried, but I got the idea from you now. Thanks

Hi there. I think it could be something to do with the frying as well. Make sure that the oil and ghee mixture is hot enough and also that you allow the jalebi to fry until it is crispy. Also make sure that the syrup is warm through the process as well.

Nice. In India we also make a sweet version with the gram dhal, jaggery called Poli. It is simply delicious.

Sounds great. We have a version of Poli as well, we fill it with coconut, sugar and sesame seeds. The dough is a bit more crispy than the roti though.

Yes you can but chicken breast can become dry quickly. Best if you want off the bone is to do deboned thigh meat.

Hi, lemon juice is added to the dough so that the layers of the banana puri become crispy. I don't speak tamil ....not a single word. Unfortunately we did not learn to speak any Indian language. My father is telugu and my mum is Hindi and they spoke only English to us.
