    Can we use Ghee instead of Margarine ? I see that you frequently use Margarine in many recipes, is there any specific purpose.

    I’m new to cooking and curious - should the lid be on at any stage when making this type of curry?

    Hello Sweet Mama🙏 What a lovely technique,banana bread has always been around home and is such a universal favorite . I wanted to say how much I love your tutorials Cream butter and sugar together. Add bananas and eggs. Combine dry ingredients, add to the mixture without overbeating etc and all of your experiments, it has taught me to not be afraid to experiment with baking. I love the idea of a simple banana bread, where the flavor of the bananas themselves shine through. Thanks so much!🙏 Happy Banana baking🍌🥰🙏

    Gaithree, we make the same thing in Trinidad, but the batter is ground split peas and we call it Saheena, and eat it with mango chutney. ❤❤I never put it in the oven, only deep fried, but I got the idea from you now. Thanks

  • @GaithreeDeviLuckan

    Hi there. I think it could be something to do with the frying as well. Make sure that the oil and ghee mixture is hot enough and also that you allow the jalebi to fry until it is crispy. Also make sure that the syrup is warm through the process as well.

    Sounds great. We have a version of Poli as well, we fill it with coconut, sugar and sesame seeds. The dough is a bit more crispy than the roti though.

Pranesh, is there some way you can create a file or link where you can search for a specific recipe instead of going thru the entire channel looking for it. I am from cape town and love watching your mom. Anothing thing, did your mom make pickle just with chillies already? Thanks to both and ❤ to her

  • @hazelgovender4813
    @hazelgovender48134 күн бұрын

    Hi, lemon juice is added to the dough so that the layers of the banana puri become crispy. I don't speak tamil ....not a single word. Unfortunately we did not learn to speak any Indian language. My father is telugu and my mum is Hindi and they spoke only English to us.
