    Here's a tip: in early spring, when you first see a haze of green on the lawn as it comes out of dormancy, scalp the lawn. Cut it as low as you possibly can, removing all of the dormant grass. Then, hit it with an /instant/ release fertilizer (not fast or slow, but instant--like Greenshocker 7-1-2). This helps the lawn green up faster and prevents thatch build up.

    Can’t you sue for 2x4” not being true 2x4”

  • @quintsaunders8093
    @quintsaunders80933 ай бұрын

    All modern lumber is cut to 2x4 (or whatever the measurement is) and then planed and finished to about 1/4 inch less than the original dimension. This is the industry standard. If, for some reason you need exactly 2 inches by 4 inches, you can buy full dimension lumber. You cannot sue for a 2x4 not being a full 2x4 inches, because it is the industry standard, and they aren’t trying to hide it. The judge would essentially say “should’ve measured”

  • @nathanielmuller4400
    @nathanielmuller44003 ай бұрын

    @@quintsaunders8093you're kind of right. 2x4s are actually 3.5x1.5. It's a standardized size that came about before ww2 because of various manufacturing differences in regions of the country that was adopted across the board during ww2 when lumber was in extremely high demand. There was a time that 2x4's were dried and milled to 2x4.
