  New wheels are MUCH better than the aftermarket rubbish! People either love or hate the “Lobster Forks” (not claws as is commonly gotten wrong)-I think they’re great. The two-tone look is nice…reminiscent of a Fuchs look. Not necessarily a fan of the decal however…but it’s YOUR car, so anyone else’s opinion but yours doesn’t matter,

  My friend bought one yesterday and asked him why he didn’t choose the polar white dial. He replied the contrast of the GMT hand looked better against a black dial. He paid HK$95K (US$12,100) used with box and papers 2023 model. I thought it was a bit expensive.

  Hi just to say this watch is amazing I have mine Last week. Not for sports or diving but rather to wear it in town with a suit and tie style or a casual outfit. Perfect size for a handle of 18.5cm.

  Had the original back in the 80s! And now this one since it’s reintroduction in 2019! Still looks and operates like brand new! Love this watch!🥰👍

  I owned the J version a long time ago, and really studied the differences from the K version at the time. Many don't know that the J version has a sharper, more crisp finish no the lugs and overall looks a lot better built. The lumes were applied better too, if I remember correctly. Now I own the SKX013 and love it. Interestingly, it has the sharp and crisp lugs like the J version. Definitely a lifetime keeper!

  I do like the patina but personally I’ll send mine to Tudor once a year to have it cleaned, I want it to last as long as possible so I can pass it on to my kids

  U could place in lemon juice (without strap) & would remove patina.

  The patina actually protects the metal so it’s a good thing

  @@edbpenguin I think due to tudor use other materials in there bronze, u may need 2 leave it in lemon longer or Google it for alternative.. But the patina does protect watch aswell.

  love my skx007k/009k but i cant find an original bezel insert to replace mine. I really hate the aftermarket bezels circulating now, they are nowhere near the original

  When you first glance at the ‘floor’, it looks like old film reels. Then as you look closer, the faces slowly, hauntingly, appear. Such an amazing architectural memorial to one of the absolute worst times in our global history. 😢

  I preferred it over a 226570 for almost the same price. This has more charme due to the shadowed hands and the slimmer band. 72 Hours of charge reserve were not so crucial in the decision. I’ve been wearing it since the first day, so no problem of disruption… still good value for price. 9300 € for a late 2018 issue, Rolex service included.

  Sorry the podcast has been retired. I enjoyed it so much. So many now feature "stars" with the extreme high end models that while nice to hear, are a little out of reach.   I think you’re being a bit analogous, I have a 997.2 and I daily drive it , it’s a pdk , I know what you mean about parking but at the end of the day it doesn’t mean it won’t happen even if you were driving a mini. I had to get over being too worried at the end of the day it’s just a car. Stop worrying so much and use your 997 .

  Just bought mine yesterday. The polar was my grail but after trying it on hand I chose the black one. I don’t know but something was off about the white dial & the steel bezel. Maybe it was my skin tone too which suits the black dial. It would be gorgeous if the polar had a black bezel like the panda Daytona, just my humble opinion. Anyway in love with my first Rolex 👍
