I predict from the title it's going to be all about Mars snd the moons of the gas giants. Which I think is very very unlikely and uninteresting. Speculating about life outside the solar system is more interesting. And it's all just speculation. There is no real evidence. But they could discuss what kinds of environments and stars could realistically support life snd how. The microbes in an ice cold hidden sea way off in the darkness or in the barren desert of Mars ...it's been soooo done to death in these kinds of documentaries. As have our solar system planets. Creators of these space documentaries should look around and see what's been done and stop repeating it over and over

Mars is not an option for a future home for mankind. No oxygen. Unless, of course, it can be terraformed with a whole new atmosphere many times thicker than it is now. It might support a small mining operation with its own contained atmosphere. Otherwise, Mars is just a science fiction wonderland, and no more a home for mankind than the moon.
Since I was a kid, our perception of the universe has changed totally.. The age and size of things is simply staggering.. There are probably billions of earthlike planets, if not trillions.. And if they don't exist, they will.. The universe is just a baby, compared to what it will become.. It will become trillions of years old and stars are born all the time.. There will be new planets, new suns..

What an idiotic question to ask "Is the Universe Hostile?" Let me think here, you cannot breath in space, black holes tear through space and time and render anything in their path non-existent. Supernova, Hypernova that vaporize everything in their vicinity. Not to mention all of it was literally created by a supermassive explosion called the Big Bang. So.....ya, I'm pretty sure it's hostile. The mere fact that we survive within it is, in itself, a miracle.
