No, that is the truth. Romans 3:23. Romans 3:9-10. First John 1:8. First John 1:10. IF we say we have not sinned we call God a liar. ALL men are sinners. There is none righteous, no not one. The good news. Second Corinthians 5:21. For He hath made Him, Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, so that we might be made the righteousness of God IN HIM. Romans 6:23. For the penalty for sin is death, physical death, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 4:5-8. But to him that worketh not, but BELIEVETH on Him who JUSTIFIETH the UNGODLY, his faith is counted for His perfect RIGHTEOUSNESS. Without His perfect righteousness, no one will see God. Romans 3:26-28. For He is the JUST and the JUSTIFIER of them that BELIEVE in Jesus. Where is boasting then? You cannot boast in a free gift that we did nothing for but believe it. John 3:18. Romans 11:6. Romans 1:16. All grace, no works. Free GIFT. Not of ourselves. Ephesians 2:8-9. Galatians 1:6-9. Anyone who preaches any other gospel than First Corinthians 15:1-4 is accursed of God.

Hello brother! I love that I stumbled on this on a 13 year old video haha. I appreciate your comment, though I'm not sure if I see a disagreement between you and Tim. Is he not describing a saving faith that brings about obedience? The book of James talks about doing the word, and not only hearing it, because a faith without fruit is not a genuine faith - it's not that the fruit we produce saves us. Our works are as filthy rags before God, 100% agree with what you're saying, though isn't there a precedence in scripture for true faith bringing about obedience... Romans 1:5 (ESV): 5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations And that we are saved for obedience to Christ? 1 Peter 1:2 (ESV): 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you. Some other scripture comes to mind... Bear Fruit: - 2 Timothy 2:12 (if we deny him, he also will deny us) - Matthew 7:16-20 (recognize them by their fruits) - Luke 3:8 (Bear fruits in keeping with repentance) - Matthew 24:13 (the one who endures to the end will be saved) Obedient Faith - James 1:22-25 (doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves) - 2 Corinthians 5:21 (For our sake... we might become the righteousness of God) - Matthew 7:21-23 (Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father) Repentance: - Luke 13:1-5 (unless you repent, you will all likewise perish) - Hebrews 12:1 (lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely) - Luke 18:13-14 (God, be merciful to me, a sinner... justified) I'm encouraged to see this though, genuinely! I'm still trying to learn more myself. God bless!

@@jimkraft9445 thank you, well put! I'm still not sure where we disagree. I know we both agree that these scriptures are consistent. Ephesians tells us that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing and chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. By grace we have been saved through faith, not our doing but God's, definitely not a result of work! We are God's workmanship, created in Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Just as Jesus speaks of obedience as an outcome of our love and saving faith (John 14:21), Paul then urges in Ephesians 4:1 for us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we've been called, and in 4:17 that we must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, and in 4:22 to put off our old self, which belongs to our former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires. In 4:30 Paul tells us not to grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom we were sealed for the day of redemption. Again, I appreciate your comment! Unless you're making a case for inconsequential persisting in sin I'm thinking we agree

@@loganjacobson891 How do you read John 3:16. For God so loved the world, everyone, that HE sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER, believeth in Him, may have, everlasting life. God knew before the foundation of the world by His foreknowledge, who would believe and who would not. People twist Ephesians 2:8-9. They read it as though God gave us the faith to be saved. No, He did not. Romans 6:23. For the penalty for sin is death, physical death, BUT, THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE. The gift is not faith, and the gift is not by works. The Gift of God is eternal life to all who accept the free gift. How a person lives has nothing to do with it. It is the GIFT of God. Those that are trusting in their own works are not saved. Matthew 7:21-23. Many shall come before me on that day and call me Lord, Lord, and tell me about all their good works. How they prophesied, in my name, and cast out demons, in my name, and did many wonderful works, in my name. But, they trusted in what they did, not what I did for them. John 6:40 and John 6:29. So, Jesus says, depart from me, I NEVER KNEW YOU. NOT I DID KNOW YOU AND NOW I DON'T, I NEVER KNEW YOU. How does God know his sheep? Second Timothy 2:19. Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (Ephesians 1:13) the Lord knoweth them that are His. Romans 8:9. Without the Spirit there is no salvation. First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. How do you know you have eternal life? Because Jesus died for every sin you have committed and every sin you will commit in the future. That is the only way we can know we have eternal life. Most people who call them selves Christians are trusting in what they do, keeping the law, to be saved, instead of what Jesus did for us. He paid for all our sins so we can never ever be condemned again. John 3:18. No sin can enter heaven. And we have to be as righteous as God. Romans 4:5-8. To believers, He has IMPUTED His perfect righteousness to our account, and paid for every sin we have committed from birth to death. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. That is why there will be no boasting in heaven. Romans 3:26-28. You cannot boast in a free gift that we did nothing for but believe the gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4. Since Jesus died to pay for all my sin, I cannot go to hell because I have no sins to pay for. The one blood sacrifice of Jesus covers us from all sin forever. You should know, 100% you are going to heaven whenever you die because God said so . First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 6:47. God cannot lie. God does not choose certain people to give faith to. He gives eternal life to them that trust in what He did apart from anything we do. Ephesians 2:8-9. For by grace ye are saved, through FAITH, it is not the faith that saves us, but the GIFT of God that saves us, not of works, lest any man should boast. Acts 16:31. Period. John 5:24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into judgement, but is passed from death unto life. God gave man a free will to either accept what He did for us to save us, or trust in something else, our own works, which cannot save us. We can only be saved by what He did for us plus nothing. Nothing else can save us but what He did. Once we believe it we are saved forever even if we never believe it again. Second Timothy 2:13. Salvation is a one time event. Acts 16:31. Saved forever or not saved at all. Romans 1:16. I hope this helps. Jesus died for every sin of every one in the world. Those that BELIEVE it are saved forever. Faith apart from any works. Romans 4:5. And all of our sins are paid for. All the sins we have committed, and all the sins we will commit in the future. God does not want His children living in sin. So he will chasten us. Colossians 3:5-6. The wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. Saved people who are living in sin. Never loss of eternal life, but loss of life and loss of rewards in heaven. First Corinthians 3:11-15. Once we become a child of God through the new birth, He will never cast us out. Hebrews 13:5. It is impossible for a born again believer to become unborn again. But we can be chastened by the Lord even to losing our physical life. First Corinthians 5:5. Turn such a one over to Satan to kill the flesh, so that HIs Spirit, (Ephesians 4:30) may be saved in the day of the Lord. Colossians 2:13. He has forgiven us ALL trespasses. This was a born again believe who was sleeping with his fathers wife. The man was saved through the new birth, Ephesians 1:13, but was about to lose his physical life. In Second Corinthians he got out of that sinful relationship and came back into fellowship with God and the church. Once we become a child of God through the new birth. Ephesians 1:13-14, our sin debt is paid in full. But we can destroy our own life. Not our eternal life. I hope this makes sense. The best news in all the world. Jesus died for sinners which we all are. Romans 3:23. Romans 3:9-10. James 2:10. If we have broken the least of His commandments, we are guilty of all. Once little lie would be enough to send us to hell forever. But, Jesus paid the penalty for our sin so we can never ever be condemned again. John 3:18. We have Gods word on it. God gives eternal life. John 10:28-29. Not faith or a reward for good behavior, but the GIFT of eternal life. apart from any works. IF I have said anything that does not agree with scripture, I am wrong and God is always right. John 3:16-18. God said.

Comparing scripture with scripture is a method of Bible study where readers examine different parts of the Bible to gain a deeper and more accurate understanding of its teachings. This approach involves cross-referencing verses and passages to see how they relate to each other, ensuring interpretations are consistent with the overall message of the Bible. A fundamental principle of this method is that one verse cannot contradict another; therefore, less clear passages are understood in light of clearer ones. This helps clarify difficult passages, prevent doctrinal errors, and provide a comprehensive context. The Bereans in Acts 17:11 exemplify this practice by eagerly and daily examining the Scriptures to verify the truth of the teachings they received. So that is what Tim is doing in this study, Hebrews 6 would be considered a "less clear" passage. So in understanding it correctly we must compare it to the rest of Scripture.

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Don't believe this false doctrine this guy is telling you. You can lose your salvation. Salvation has always been a choice on your part so therefore you can choose to walk away as easy as you can choose to accept Christ. There is no free ride. There is a free gift but you have to accept it and once you accept it, it is possible to reject it later. God bless!

Hello my name is Lamont im 19 and I did contact you before, but I'm still falling. I'm not sure if I can repent. I'm not sure if im like esau and commited the unpardonable sin. I've commited too many high handed sins. I was willing to sell my soul and to sell christ for a certain instant gratification that ive been longing for years. The first attempt I was in the middle of it and I stopped, but a couple months later I got achieved gratification(not saying in a proud way when I say "acheived". I'm not sure if god hates me. I was tempted to lose my faith for sin and to become wordly and enjoy the world. I dont feel bad for my sins, I've been blaming God for my problems. I have thoughts in my head where if I do a certain thing I was going to go to lose Jesus or to lose my chance of grace. When I think about sinning or if im thinking about eating food I think of myself as esau, like if i eat this doenut im going to lose my chance to repent. Right now I don't know what to do. I just feel like easing back and watch TV and sometimes selfpitty myself. Has God given me over to a reprobate mind. I also want to lose my faith because I dont know if I brain washed myself into Christianity, which I'm not denying if it's true. I have questions if weather Jesus was a real person, I'm even losing faith in the existence of God, but I back it up with logic and I still like the logic and reasoning is slipping away with more skepticism. I fake cry sometimes or get mad at God to gain His attention. I cant let go of my sins because I like them, but I don't want to face the consequences of my actions. Before I sin It feels like there's a gun to my head or that I'm about to snap from the grace of God or God himself because of my commitment to the sin. Am I beyond repentance because I treat sin like a duty, like it's my Job to sin. I've been committing premeditated sins for a long time. I dont love God from what I know. Also I've been rude and I've been like the people described in romans 1 when it was talking about the wrath of God. Am I like what it says in hebrews 12 16 or like in hebrews when it talked about people tasting the heavenly gift and rejecting christ afterwards? Because I probably did taste the heavenly gift and still chose sin over Salvation many times probably If been getting irritated with everyone around me and also with God, I don't know if im numb to conviction. I feel so careless rightnow, but the though of esau haunts me badly sometimes. I know I keep sending emails, but there's so much more I can problems say and I am not sure if I told this right. Today I believe ive tasted and mistaken it for being saved and I was willfully sinning. I think this happened twice. I would commit gluttony on purpose, but i didnt have a desire to sin.

Once saved can also be undone if we decide to walk away from His eternal grace. The choice is ours to decide, till the end. Just as Adam and Eve lost paradise, the same effect is also available in Christ Jesus. Our free will is given to us even today and our choices remain till our last breath. The above is deceitful and heresy!!

If one is indeed truly a "saved believer" they indeed cannot leave. Therefore the issue becomes this: Those who leave were never truly saved. That is the language we have in 1 John 2:19, "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us." This is the same issue with those in Matthew 7:21-23 who emphatically say, "Lord, Lord" and boast in the miracles they did. What does Christ tell them? "I NEVER knew you." It is not that He knew them and they lost their salvation, for salvation cannot be lost, but it is that they had a false salvation and were deceived.

There’s nothing you can do…I don’t know you or your circumstances but what I can read you have no faith…put your trust in Jesus Christ and HIS finished work on the cross!

i'll be praying for you! but keep going back to him asking for grace & mercy! even when you fail and know you will, God see's your heart that you dont want to but if you give up and run from God - thats not gonna help you at all!

Amen. All about True Saving Faith. Billions of so called "christians" believe in Jesus and believe themselves to be good and to deserve Heaven. That is, mocking the Gospel of Christ. Talkin' bout the devil: "He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride."

I have a best friend who loved God and the church. But my friend got caught in this gender (transgender). He said no matter how I live my life God still loves me and He know I do. I asked him have you trusted Jesus as your Lord. He said of course I did and live for him. This verse in Hebrew came to mind. I think if he doesn't repent for this lifestyle and died in this wicked sin he will not enter the Kingdom.

You’re absolutely right in your interpretation of scripture…if he doesn’t repent of his sins, be born again and believe in the gospel..

You are correct. People can't lose their salvation, but some can and do come to know Jesus and decide to forsake Him.

That's the issue that people are missing. It's not that they 'lost the salvation'... They went away from it. Usually after longer periods of backsliding and compromising. The problem is that countless ministries try to sell tickets to heaven and then assure that it is 100% guaranteed. Well, the delivery is, but if you moved elsewhere, you won't get it.

@jennifercottingham8620 loss of interest in their relationship with Elohim, unjustified anger toward Him, cares of worldly concerns, higher priorities in their eyes or lack of gratitude. Look at Matthew 23:3 and following and Hebrews 6.

@@metapolitikgedanken612 this bumps up against the whole "sealed unto the day of redemption" promis though. If you can by any means back out of l, or break away from yoir justified status by thr blood of christ, then you were not sealed unto the day you redemption, and it produces a liar of the word of God in that passage. Moreover it also conflicts with any of the parts that point out that the salvation was a gift, and that the grace by which you recieve that gift is mutually exclusive from any works of righteousness you do. Which logically means thaf if you can't even it by doing good, you cannot lose it by doing bad either.

Grace Community Church, Hebrew 6 and Heb 10, along with other scriptures prove that Christians can loose their salvation. Heb 6 is talking about born again Christians. Stop deceiving people. If you ever get smartened up God might reveal the Biblical truths to you, you scruffy man, you have no respect for God.

Just when it looks like he’s saying salvation is secure he then says don’t drift by replacing Christ with sin drift to what ? If once saved always saved then why do we stress I believe that if we settle in that we are secure then we will abstain from sin because now we know who we are and live clean because Christ made me a good tree
