Everyone says don’t overchoke with TSS. Well my 20 gauge with an Indian Creek .555 flat and Small town blend patterns better than any 20 I’ve ever seen. Much better than those patterns. Try an Indian Creek .555 or .562

Buddy, all we care about is seeing the pattern on paper. We all know we can then move your sights, scope, or red dot. So many KZreadrs waste time trying to explain this.

Try some Wind Hill Precision TSS. They are made in MS just like Apex. Both great companies. My 20 ga prefers Windy Hill Precision TSS. I have no affiliation with either. Enjoyed your video.

Not the red dot for you if you are going to put the shotgun through a lot of abuse. Had mine sighted in and after throwing it in the boot of the quad for a few hunting trips the red dot was off by close to 4 feet on horizontal aim. Would not hold zero.

Why not just shoot the 28 youre raving about? Theres zero reason for all the gauge tall tales. A 20 gauge isnt an adults gun any more than a 28 is a kids gun. A 12 gauge isnt a mans man gun.

@@DIYHunterI got the wife a Mossberg SA 28 using Trulock 515 and federal 1oz 10s. At 40 yards that set up puts half the shot in 10inches and 130 pellets in 6 inch. Yesterday I patterned Boss Tom 9s and Salt Creek 10s, both 1 1/4 oz and used 515 and a 520 choke. With the 515 both of those put more than 270 pellets in the 10 and 150 in the 6. I was pretty stoked. She's going to use the 1oz 10s from federal this year. I'm about to shelve my 12 gauge 1187 for one of these. 22 inch barrel and pleasant to shoot. Weighs next to nothing

Benelli mobile choke, you can get an Indian Creek. I have the Weatherby SA-08 28ga. Looking at getting the synthetic Mossberg Sa-28 as a beater with the Indian Creek - I hit those thickets pretty hard and a nice gun jus don't stay nice. Love my weatherby, but she IS a princess. Good luck to you. They are a FUN GUN to have!!

28 and 16 gauge shot loads are typically "square" loads, square loads pattern more evenly. Also of note, 28 and 16s are usually a bit faster than their 20 and 12 gauge counterparts.

Tuff week. Please rewatch your hunt and reevaluate some of y’all decisions y’all made. I understand the run gun method. But I also know how to hunt elk. The elk told you the first day where you could kill one at but you left. It’s hunting I know. Nobody likes to sit and wait for 5 or 6 days in one shot to kill a bull. I know. But I can.

Having packed with llamas for many years , (and horses.). I can certainly understand how you felt losing them for a bit. Lost a horse for a couple days once and someone let the llamas out of the corral ???? Saw a bear heading towards our camp. Went back but never saw it again. Llamas just chillin. No alarm calls ???? Always a risk with pack animals>. Is that an abscess on that guy? Or something else?

  • @fireguy7004

Looks to me like an abscess?? It's not uncommon. Ours have had 3 or 4 of those over the years. They get a seed or something that penetrates the inside of the cheek. Causes the infection. Llamas have a high pain tolerance but thats the biggest abscess Ive seen if thats what it is. Our vet would lance, drain and flush with betadine or similar. Then he would soak about 3 feet of gauze into the pocket. Leave a tail hanging out. Then everyday I would pull 6 inches or so out and cut it off. Really need to get the wound to drain and heal from the inside out. Llama. Like cats, they will heal over a wound and trap the infection.
