Fair call by the judges... CF is missing the fact that he had a bobble in OZ4 that's why MF had to check up which ruined his momentum and made him run shallow. Very typical for CF mistake, if you watch other cars in OZ4 they way less of a delay between slow down and acceleration. idk why Chris sleeps on the gas, may because he dropped wheels in practice and was trying not run wide. Other drivers expect him to step on it after slowing down, but Chris coasts for second. In terms of lead, Chris hit the wall and cut the line after that, a big no no, judges said they don't want to see that in the driver's meeting. Spotter should have cleared that call, and inform the driver. Anyhow, just an opinion.

It has been an issue with FD for a few years where judges make call's that are hard to understand, both from a viewer standpoint and as we hear from a driver standpoint. I would love to see a call back from what Matt did wrong, but what I saw was the wall hit in OZ 1 was kinda hard and pushed the car out of the zone and made the transition to OZ 2 a bit off. I really DO NOT get why a track values grass safety over driver safety, If they had the flat barriers like long beach I don't think we would see as much of an issue as the jersey barriers with a ramp. Not only that, but I also think the perpendicular wall at OZ 2 should have been reworked a bit and the last bit of OZ 4 made the end of the battle so awkward, the turn narrows so bad it feels like cars can't fit and didn't look like anyone had a real good way of making it look good. I'm not sure FD should come back after seeing some of this stuff.

Honestly, I've lost hope in Formula Drift , The more I watch, the angrier it makes me , The commentators are big ball-lickers, and that irritates me deeply. we all know that it is not formula drift anymore, it is Formula Field, Or formula Tuerck or formula asbo And to be honest for quite a while it was formula Forsberg . commentators simply stop commenting on what they are seeing. They simply make stupid and unconstructive guesses. No matter how much player X or Y played the game, they will ALWAYS SPEAK BAD ABOUT THE PERSON, EVEN WHEN THE PLAYER DOESN'T MAKE ANY MISTAKES! creating hypothetical situations taken out of the ASS HOLE 100% It makes me sick to watch. Diego higa, brandon, CASTRO! you can NAME THEM ALL and many more, all the persons that constantly get Fucked And robbed for no fucking reason. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE DRIVERS, AND YOU AREN'T driving AT 200%, YOU WILL GET FUCKED! NO MATHER WHAT. 1000% . No reputation , No name , No fucking anything. I'm even surprised that Minowa IS WINING, its a fucking miracle that this guys Aren't fucking with him the same way they fucked with other drivers . MIRACLE ! Put the fucking judges on the track give them a car on hand and make them fucking drift the track, since they are SOO GOOD judge's For sure They have the ULTIMATE SKILLS to just do it, since they are judging other's people's skills they must have the same amount of skills or even better skill's than the actual Drivers. Sorry for the "hate" but this shit has been pissing me OFF ALOT . And to make things clear , I dont hate Anyone, i just "HATE" The way the game is made and played !

Matt's lead was a lot cleaner and they seemed to reward leads a lot more now. Obviously there was the OZ1 wall that kind of threw off your line and pushed you away from matt. I think the spot that gave matt the win was OZ4. You entered well, but ended up leaving the zone late and then the handbrake pull at the end probably also deducted some points, especially since it caused matt to angle up more.

@chrisforsbergracing I think, in general, drivers need to understand what the judges want and hit those marks. At this level, there shouldn't be a debate on what you guys can and can't do. Some of you have been driving for 20+ years. The skill gap shouldn't be as big as it is. Back to the main topic. It sounds like you're saying that the judges are asking for one thing, and changing their thoughts a mid battle? If that's true. And it may very well be. Then drivers need to come together to make something happen about it. I will grant you that ALOT of drivers have been coming out with videos about how the judges are inconsistent. However, are drivers doing exactly as asked. I've seen teams go up to the box throughout the day just to check up on if they're driving the judges expect.

This is one of those rare instances where I agree with the judges on a controversial call. Chris did hit OZ1 after initiation. He also entered OZ4 shallow then actually came out of the zone towards its middle section and got back into the zone in the last part of OZ4 but was still barely in it. In my opinion, this caused Field to bobble in the chase as you can see Field enter OZ4 on a near perfect line but had to correct to take a shallow line to chase Chris which made him bobble. Field also did have a much better Lead. So I think I agree with the judges in that battle but great showing for both drivers.

Well we all saw the results of those k-rails with Adam. Up and almost over. FD needs to have an actual ex driver design the courses, not a freshman. FD seems to be very inconsiderate of the drivers opinions and views, despite the fact that without them, there would be nothing. It's a shame. A unified driver's protest is a good idea, it may wake up the necessary personalities a little. Unfortunately money and sponsors seem to be pushing things in their own direction, instead of being a family.

Unrelated/Related : FD has to make sure the judges can’t hear the commentators while judging is going on. The commentators go off on wild tangents and theories IMMEDIATELY without all the cameras and knowledge to fill dead air and studies have proven that even if you’re aware of a potential bias, hearing people say a thing as true influences your own opinion of a matter. The judges need to be isolated from their dumb ramblings until a decision is made.

watch it again and actually look at forsbergs rear wheel, it tells the entire story of oz4. Chris was already coming into oz4 with the barely any momentum (hence why he came up short) and then he modulated throttle and handbraked because he wanted to be deeper into the zone but he didn't have nearly enough momentum to actually push the car wide so all it did was stall Field up.

@@nickdoescher9957 This is not how that rule actually works. That only applies when the lead driver is following the expected criteria. If the lead car deviates from that and the chase car has a mistake that can be directly linked to the error of the lead car, Its always going to be blamed on the lead car. This is how the rules work. You can't just do what ever you want in lead and be like "hE wAs sUpPoSeD tO miMic mE bRo" This is a backwards understanding of that rule.

@@nickdoescher9957 Chris was not on throttle past the decel zone, he pulled handbrake past the decel zone, He lifted past the decel zone. What you need to understand about this level of drifting is micro errors like that will and do cause major issues for an unsuspecting chase car and when a car surges that quickly it's generally not a result of the car magically gaining a bunch of speed, its because the lead car slowed or failed to get back on throttle in an area where they were supposed to be carrying momentum. This is precisely why the judges are so hard on drivers for their momentum outside of decel zones.
