Idk why people spend $600 on a putter when there is almost no difference between a $80-$100 then the $600. I get why people buy better irons because that actually makes a difference but putter is all the golfers skill and nothing else.

There's a course in the city I grew up in that everyone referred to as "The Goat Ranch". It was so bad that I actually lost a ball on the fairway. The grass was all brown, everywhere, even on the "greens". How they stayed in business was anybody's guess, but it wasn't that expensive to play on, and the only reason I played golf at all was it was cheaper to pay the greens fees and rent a golf cart for the day than to go to the go-cart track. You would be surprised the fun you can have with a golf cart and no brains.

Guys, you can obviously play golf. But seeing that not every shot is great or even always good is refreshing for not so good players like myself who are a tad anxious about looking like a muppet just because we hit some poor shots. Much appreciated confidence boost :)

After the 18; I would go back and complain about the course condition. No sand in the sand traps, puddles. There is an expectation of a golf course they didn’t meet. Refund me the two no shows or I’ll dispute the entire charge and report you to the BBB

This is my first watch, I LOVE what you're doing. I'm a cheap golfer in PHX. So, this course looks like home. Your reviews need to include a layout rating, there can be a difference. Check out Stripe Show in Mesa AZ, bad condition - great layout, and of course CHEAP!

Lake Park is by far my favorite course! Especially for a beginner it is fantastic. The greens are very well maintained, the prices are affordable, the driving range is great, and the staff is very friendly. The people golfing are often friendly there as well and are happy to give you tips. I say that Lake Park is by far my favorite course in Dallas so far.

The guy at the counter says “The guy who owns this place is kinda tough.” Sounds like the owner is sitting on this property as an asset and doesn’t want to pay for grounds crews and upkeep. I don’t think I’ve played a course that looked as bad as this one and I’d be mad as a homeowner with a backyard of a garbage dump.
