Are you ready for some heart-stopping, electrifying news? 💛⚡️
We're thrilled to announce the release of our latest single "Don't Let The Darkness" from our upcoming 9th studio album, Simple Things. This song embodies the spirit of our new record: survival, gratitude, resiliency, and a new-found focus on the simple things that make life worth living.
Together with the double A-sides "Heartless Year" and "Stormy Weather", these songs represent the Heathens at our best. With Simple Things, we've been able to look back on our triumphs and failures with a new perspective, finding the best versions of ourselves while returning to the sounds that first sparked inspiration when we formed 17 years ago in Austin, TX.
Pre-orders for the album, out on March 17th, are available now on limited edition translucent vinyl, CD, and digital formats, along with exclusive merch bundles at bandofheathens.com. Mark your calendars because this is an album release you won't want to miss!

Touches me every time I play it. Another one that keeps me hanging on. Thank you.
Sooo no one gets cancer from weed?
Eat a gummy, take a tonic, use a salve or tincture or idk how many ways you can ingest marijuana. You do not have to use flower though.
How is that not Kristen Wiig?
Thanks, guys. You keep me holdin' on. Love you !
As a mid Michigan boy who grew up on Bob Seger, this is a abomination of this song. I normally love songs by this band, but this one is absolutely ridiculous…. The tempo is a third too fast and there is no feeling in the voice. This is crazy. How dare them even record this song
THey are sooo great!

and yeah the decisions taken like becoming dumb and not reading the sign or choking on the steak etc. as a coping mechanism, likely the best option out there short of self-induced inner peace. still a fun song.
HST - My favorite author. Riding with Hells Angels and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Not to mention his political coverage and hate of Nixon.
What an amazing collaboration.
