  I really appreciate seeing how your style has evolved from the last house to this. Both houses are gorgeous, but the last one was definitely more “modern” and this one has more elements of “traditional” style…like the green paint, the style of cabinet handles and the runner you chose for the kitchen. Thank you for continuing to share your updates and inspiring many.

  This is the 1st Hot Mess House. Her husband is in the military and they had to sell the first house and move to the lake house. They are selling the lakehouse because her father passed away there while visiting them 💜

  Lexi, you know how I feel, I wish I could give you a hug! ❤ It's been almost 2 months since my dad passed away, Father's Day and his birthday, June 8th, just felt weird. I'm still at his house cleaning things up. It's just me until my brother can get here and help. He's doing more of the updating, and thankfully, we have similar tastes. You know, and I know our dad's are never far away. They will live in our hearts forever! 🙏

  About 4 times a year. I have no kids or pets, keep them covered with blankets that match the sofa fabric, and we don’t eat on the sofa.
