    Great video as always and I thought you explained enough in the video. I chose the video because it was short in length and I got everything I needed to know in the video.

    i thought power is 1-5 reps

  • @Axiomfitnessacademy
    @Axiomfitnessacademy18 күн бұрын

    1-5 does fall within the 1-10 range mentioned in the video. It depends on the movement and desired outcome. Some athletes need to be able to exert repeat power for multiple reps. An example of a power exercise where an 8-10 rep range might be used is a kettlebell swing.

    So, I’m a little confused. It sounds like you don’t think a category like HIIT should be the burnout at the end of the workout, could you elaborate on that? Also, isn’t plyometrics a big part of HIIT?

  • @Axiomfitnessacademy
    @AxiomfitnessacademyАй бұрын

    Basically, HIIT is a type of workout and Plyometrics are an exercise category. Plyometric exercises are designed to be used to develop power - not as a conditioning tool. Having someone perform plyometric exercises in a HIIT state doesn't develop power and can actually be dangerous.

    I wouldn’t pull the toes up. That will use your overactive synergist EDH and EDL. The anterior tib won’t get activated. Instead curl the toes down while dorsiflexing. You’ll thank me later.

    does this 2 energy systems repeats itself for instance I start an exercise that goes maybe till 2 min and then I rest and go again does it start again by ATP and then so one or it follows what it stayed before in the energy system?

    If you have a client twice a week, just curious why wouldn’t you do one training session for upper body and the next training session for lower body?

  • @Axiomfitnessacademy

    Because you likely won't get enough frequency for results.

    I really enjoy your videos. Super educational. But as someone who has a hard time focusing having the backgroug music just as loud or sometimes louder them you speaking it's so hard to focus and comprehend what you saying. I understand most people don't have this issue but for people who do it would just be nice if the background music was at a lower level. Thank you and keep doing these amazing videos.
