Certainly No intent here to criticize any part of this awesome video -- and obviously not Watts' words -- but I want to suggest that you edit the English narrative across the screen, as there are a Lot of places where the words are quite different from what he is saying (e.g., "...don't live by the rules of hell" rather than by "health"). For those who don't have audio capability, this would be awfully helpful.

He was an alcoholic. Born into a comfortable life, and free of the many kinds of deep suffering that millions endure. He continued ti live a comfortable--albeit drunk--life due to foolish people buying his re-warmed ideas.

This man was an enlightened human being. Once I discovered him, what he said resonated with me on a deep level He just had an uncanny ability to be able to take what he thought and put it eloquently into words. He was able to simplify it all which made it easier to connect to a wide range of people.

I do not get the "problem." Meaning is everywhere. Meaning is a function of desire and consequence. The meaning of a thing is how it impacts and shapes towards (or away from) a desired outcome. The only situations in which there is no meaning, are when there are either (a) no desires, or (b) no consequences. If you have desires and consequences of events, then there is meaning. The meaninglessness of Sisyphus' task is that there is nothing to desire, nor any consequence.

Hello comrades, if you have been struggling with living, I hope this philosophical exploration will help you realize a few things in life. This is a brief outlook into the video. To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering. Despite the absurdity of existence, the first step is to accept it. Life’s lack of inherent meaning does not negate the experience of living itself. Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does. So, the first sign of the beginning of understanding is the wish to die. But when we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. Be inspired.

I would say that some of the writings in the bible are inspired by a Higher Power, Spirit, but some very clever, tricky, and deceptive tyrants underwrote their agenda of psychopathy and genocide into it, which has brought our world to where it is today.

What a total idiot Watts was! A con artist mis-portraying the absurd fake religion of Daoism, which is a plague on Chinese countries. And not at all what he portrayed it to be since Lao Tzu is a fictional character! It's actually harmful to listen to Alan Watts. For his own greed, he sends you down the road of pretending, instead of pointing you to something real. Follow the rabbit hole if you want the real thing, and unlike Watts, no one down that hole wants your money in any form. What's down there makes Daoism look like a pretending game for kindergarteners. Watch some cartoons and find your way to a community where real magic and real knowledge of reality is available to you for free.

Me too! Isn't life spectacular, finally finding the you, you are is exactly who you always wanted to be! I've learned to appreciate all three yous ,because all they are are indoctrinated reoccurring thought hiccups "they"told you to hyper focus on...and you find that you're never alone ,and timelessly eternal..love and adore all yous, even the ones you try to think Isn't you..and go one step further, who was I before they told me I was, then you find you are completely opposite of they at the same time with thoughts of they, you all find a balanced dance inside and outside of yourself because while you think you're you and not you it's exactly who you always wanted to be! They are one and nothing all at once, marvelous..Isn't it?❤

My opinion here is that one needs to observe and understand when to let go. This requires efforts and intelligence. This rules out the misunderstanding in the concept about going with the flow or doing nothing.

The Best Part about Being a Human with Free Will is that there is something liberating about being Misunderstood, that is Our Right. For God will Judge Me when it is Time. My time on this planet is for US as Individuals to Decide. Men with "Power" hold their power as if they will lose it all. Is there any power in that?

Also i heard in a video the ingredients in tears can vary depending on the emotional state. Tears of pain and tears of joy may have different proportions of salt, of oils, and of other factors. Science marches on. Fact checked your statement in Google. Seems you're right about that. Except it's spelled PRAKRIT.
