Why the f*** do you have a first person story about a woman narrated by a man? Do you wish to destroy every ounce of verisimilitude? I'll try listening to the rest of it but it will be difficult. That was a really stupid move. On top of that, the video has absolutely nothing to do with the story. This is really sloppy storytelling, and listening to a man's voice I forgot momentarily that it was supposed to be a woman's. That made it all the more jarring. Sloppy, insensitive storytelling. Gimme a break.

Why didn't you call the credit card company when you realized it was gone and have them lock down your account until a new card could be issued?
@deirdredunbar528218 күн бұрын
This story must be written by someone who resides in a country where the parents are allowed to take control of everything. This must be Japan or China. In the United States anyone stealing your credit card will be arrested for fraud. People cannot just come into your private residence and do whatever they please. Parents in the US are not allowed to just move into your home and MIL are not given money to spend because they want it. Marriage does not mean that the union will also include taking care of the parents nor that the parents are entitled to live off their children.

I think the thing that is a huge red flag to me is that's the people act and talk like they are in the orient but their names are Western. They bow, apologize for things no westerner would apologize for and call their FIL and MIL by their titles instead of their names. Sometimes the AI narrator actually says FIL instead of father in law which is good for a chuckle at least. Why would this woman stay with this man who doesn't work, drinks, gambles and criticizes her all the time? The husband thought he could sell the house to his parents but she would pay the mortgage? This plot has more holes than Swiss cheese.

Written by Japenese young people then read by computer bots. Anybody in grade 8 knows that. They're school teenagers. Looking up big words doesn't make you any more intelligent when you couldn't see it's a bot that reads and translates and school teens in Japan writing basing these on old Japenese traditions. I've told them to research and proofread if they want to keep pretending they're American. Or else keep them as open Japenese stories.

25 years ago I bought the house next door to my parents because there was no other family and they were getting older. 3 years ago I moved in with my father 24/7 because he needed a caregiver. My sister and I were with my father 24/7 until he passed away 9 months ago and we're still very scarred from the loss. How people can find that their parents as a burden is beyond my comprehension.

Not bad. One glaring problem is that the older sister never brought up any grievances. She allowed herself to be taken advantage of until she finally disowner her family because they couldn't read her mind. Many times in this story she assumed things, like her parents helping her sister throw away all her stuff. While this doesn't make her the bad guy, it sure as hell doesn't make her a victim.
@sarahnicks782527 күн бұрын
To be fair to the AI I feel like it is a fair assumption that they either helped or excused her behavior because who doesn't notice all that furniture being removed. And yes, while it isn't a great story, it really isn't written that terribly.

School never commented about the marks on my arms, legs and face. They didn't do anything until i came to school with my face burned. I said they poured medical alcohol on me and set me on fire. Why ? They blamed me for all their problems. They were never punished. I ran away, got onto a train and woke up in another state. Good news, they did not send me back.
