  You could, as that was the standard (and usually still is for most admin task lights) However with the RGB line of Princeton Tec lights they are completely programmable to setup and configure the way you want to run it.

  $400 for some mesh fabric and velcro attached to a helmet harness. but to be fair a bump helmet is just that with a plastic shell

  True. Pros and cons to both, and definitely situational dependent. Not every mission calls for higher levels of PPE, and for some cases where a lower signature is required (being used with a ghillie) a light weight packable cover may be the solution needed.

  @@opfornightsolutionscorp sure but something like the tracer tactical head harness at $200 is alot more resonable price. Sure it's probably not as good a the 4D tactical but it still does get the same job done.

  We have been experimenting making some step up interface rings to accommodate uncommon NV lenses with some measure of success. We could likely get it to work with a MUM14 objective.

  I’m currently looking at the "force on force shield - advanced low signature nvg" for the Pvs 14. I would like to know if these lens can resist multiple hits from a gas/electric/spring airsoft gun shooting a 20g/25g/30g plastic BB pellet out of a 15"inch barrel, going at 400fps-500fps, and from 15'feet away?
