Nonsense. Neurologists have no effective intervention for nOH. They don't have very effective interventions for a whole lot in general. They have no cures whatsoever. They don't know what a cure looks like.

I’m a professional stylist and salon owner in the business for over 30 years. Nioxin was great when it first came out, unfortunately when Proctor and Gamble bought Nioxin they changed the original formula that had made the product so great in first place. I’ve been using Nioxin ever since it first came out, I still use it today but I definitely miss the original formula.

I was diagnosed in 1984 with sarcoidosis by my dermatologist. She took a plug of skin from my leg near my ankle. At the time of onset I’ll call it i woke one morning thinking I’d had a stroke, come to find out it was Bells Palsy/facial paralysis commonly associated with sarcoidosis. From there my journey with Bells Palsy, Uveitis, coughing and a scaley rash on my lower legs for 30 days. After all that I was left wearing eye glasses and developed arthritis in both hips, other than that I THANK GOD 🙏 have been symptom free. I did smoke for about 30 years so I now have COPD and asthma but i am good 🙏….. this disease is tricky so my advise is to find THAT doctor who knows something about sarcoidosis……

Chaplain Sheri Snively spoke at my father’s Navy Silver Eagles reunion in 2009. I could feel her spiritual calmness and I revered and respected her. I am grateful to have had her speak to my father’s Navy pilot friends whom have all now passed, at least in the San Francisco wing.

If this primarily affected men, the patient would have been diagnosed in two visits and treated in just a couple months with exceptionally researched cutting edge surgeries or medications. Instead, it is something that mainly affects women, and makes us fat, allowing the mostly male doctors to fat shame us and blame everything on our diet and physical activity rather than listening. I was a 141 lb athlete and avid runner before developing symptoms- now I'm pushing 300 and can't climb stairs and in so much pain can barely move. I developed the rash in 2010- on my leg, I told the doctors every time I saw them that this rash never went away no matter what I did. Was told I would have a hard time growing old if I was embarrassed by a little rash. Then came night sweats, lowered energy levels, muscle cramps and joint pain, stretch marks with even the slightest weight gain, acne like I was a teen again on a ever widening face, easily bruised skin with red splotches, then the nail in the coffin of my intimate relations- the dreaded bison hump. It is now 14 years later, multiple ER visits as my body is simply shutting down. I've spent thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours seeing doctors and specialists and have only just recently been informed that Cushings might be the cause. It is too late for me, the American medical system and male bias has killed me.

I'm so sorry for Ryan's parents and the heartbreak they know. Our 3-month-old grandson was diagnosed with osteopetrosis about a month ago. He is scheduled for BMT using bone marrow from his older brother, which is an incredible answer to our prayers. We pray that God will continue to answer our prayers and allow this precious boy to live and be healthy 🙏💕🙏

It never took me 6+ doctors to be diagnosed. Just as this lady in the video, once the Neurologist couldn’t figure out what was wrong, he sent me then to the Sleep Doctor. I then got a sleep study done and found out I had Narcolepsy and Sleep Apnea 😩 I hate having Narcolepsy!

Funny how doctors dont know these diseases but having had a cat with acromegaly if she told me those symptoms, thats the first thing i would have said. If i read doctors took 8 or 12 years!!!! to figure this out I never want to hear ever again "dont google it" "you're not a doctor" "the internet...." Nobody does better research than someone who is affected themselves or has someone they love be affected.

Here is what happened to one youtuber, @xxxxxxxx I had Raynauds--pretty bad actually. I couldn't even get in the shower without having the bathroom pre-heated or my fingers would go yellow, then paste-white. It was painful. Then I got breast cancer. I had lumpectomy, balloon radiation, and chemo. I haven't had a Raynauds episode since then--that was in 2015.

I got really lucky. I have two. I found my first one which has a heart clip at a garage sale about 10 years ago. That one has five "teeth " that holds the bracelet in place. I found my second one which is the butterfly clip one this past March at a annual charity sale in my area. No instructions with either one but I learned how to make these bracelets from watching a kids show on PBS called Zoom. I've made several bracelets with the heart one after teaching myself to do slipknots for adjustable closures. I'm yet to try the butterfly one though. I have to relearn the folding over the strings method with the loop closure and see if that kind of bracelet design works for me. My next task though is to relearn how to do the chevron design. I'll try it again tomorrow at my craft club. All of the ladies like my bracelets because its different from what they make and I welcome their advice and questions.

I wish I would have known of diabetic shoes. I nearly wrecked my foot last fall with a multi fracture. 4 months in a boot. I was wearing a very thin Merrell shoe and rolled my foot. Charcot had taken the muscle structure of my foot, so it fractured easy. Now, I have bone spurs on the top and bottom of my foot to deal with & remove down the road. Orthopedic place I went to recommended these shoes and custom inserts. They are great so far.
