I assume he's wright, soil is the best place.
I’m SO jealous of people who have a partner! I’m 69 years old, 4’ 9”, and less than 100 lbs with a chronic illness that’s been going on for 21 years (TOXINS,). 2 minutes of that kills my back!
Why no ground cover to stop weeds?
We must be getting close?
@@Gardengirlie04 yes! Any day now!!
Can i add oak
What kind of arbs are they?
I'm a hairdresser... So needless to say I have human hair on hand. I'm getting conflicting opinions about color treated hair in compost. I use my composting for my garden beds. Do you have an opinion on color treated human hair?
Do you have any updates? How well did it work?
Hate the idea of growing plants on cardboard. Also did you make sure all yohr wood chips and compost are pesticide free? Pesticides contain high levels of PFA forever chemicals which you will be putting into your food if the compost and/or mulch is contaminated. Always be super careful with sourcing!
Too muck yak - get to the point.
Greetings from Chile, thanks!
@@2000rpascual greetings back to you!! God bless
So .... Can i mix the straw with Pig's waste and use it ? Since pig's watse contains nitrogen ?? ...somebody give a reply, or some opinions ... what are the best options ..
I wanna date a guy like him.
No glue or mortar?
@@Karnivore1496 nope! I could be an extra measure for sure but gravity and the back pressure from the soil should hold it in just nice
Miss you all❤❤❤
Compost tea help aerate soil and cover crop fix nitrogen then become green manure
Thank you for the video. I learned a lot! I have a chain link fence row to clear out. Unfortunately, I am a brand new widow now, so this chore is mine. I had no clue how to tackle it, but I did recently buy myself a Milwaukee Hackzall so I guess I will be putting it to good use. I'm a girl, who don't know these things, so I appreciate your instructions. Thank you!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊
How do I do this with rocks
Great information - thanks!
I get it crepe murder is a horrible however I have several that previous owner let run wild. I don't want all shade. I need to cut back 15 feet so I can get sun to grow grass. WHEN can I cut in eastern NC
I understand. BEST time would be late fall, winter. That way the tree is dormant
Is there an issue with the inks from the paper or even on cardboard?
I try to steer clear of paper with lots of ink or any plastic. If possible.
How would I do that where it goes from grade level to about 1 to 1.5 feet high with the trapezoid shaped 4" high stones?
Well…you’d need 3-4 layers if you’re using 4 inch thick stones. And you would make sure each layer is set back about 1 inch to help with soil retention. Hope this helps!
Timberline cow manure and compost is nothin but sand
Just say it!
I cannot believe the amount of people using dog waste as compost. That is absolutely disgusting. Dogs are a bane on our environment, they aren’t a natural animal, no part of a dog should be used. 🤮🤮🤮
That dog!😂😂😂
God bless you both!!! 🎉 I am sharing with my children and all the youth at church. You are a testimony to what we need to be, and how finding our person should be.
So this is what you do when you’re not drumming for Foster the people.
How are you doing? Think about you often. Time for an update 😊
That is really some *BEAUTIFUL ☆🖤☆black ⭐🐝gold💛 soil!* 4real though!👌 AWESOME work you've done w/ it! I'm going on about 8 years now, that i have been slowly, but surely trying to amend all the soil / mud in my backyard working its way to that! (I can say, i do have thankfully "some" areas, that I'm very proud n grateful for in my garden. (Always an ongoing process til the very end)😃 I literally low key freak out, (sometimes even HIGH KEY 😡🤯🤬 🙈🙊😉), when anyone puts something in / on/ around my garden or lawn, that shouldn't be anywhere around. (Like any type of chemical stuff, nasty pesticides that kill off my worms and/ or beneficial bugs, etc etc... most of yall can get where 💁♀️I'm coming from right!? 🤷♀️ Anyway thank U for the sharing the extra knowledge, and I'm sending positive energy n vibes👉 yall way. 🙌🙏👈😊🍃🍀🌾
Guy takes 15 minutes to list 10 things which could be done in under a minute.....what a waste of time.
What type of rock are you using?
@@jerryw4458 it is what we call field stone around here.
Will the plastic stunt the growth of the tree? Also why river rock & not mulch? Is one better than the other ?
@@corin1743 good questions! The plastic will not stunt if it is not strangling the base of the tree. The river rock was just for the aesthetic. Mulch would have probably been more of a natural option but the rock looked great so the client went with that. Hope this helps!
What’s the end result?
Well…it didn’t work! Haha. I need to make a follow-up video. I think the cracks were too deep. Some of the plants lived but not many. I should have dug little holes and put in compost then they would have thrived.
This will not only killing Bermuda grass. This will kill all grass.
Can I use this if Im just putting rock and flagstone pavers down? I want to keep the grass and weeds out!
@@MsHeatherLea I would NOT use this. I would use a landscape fabric underneath rock and pavers. That way it’ll help prevent weeds long-term
@@gardenguychannel thank you!
Avoid dead bodies. #satire
Thanks for the info, I bought a home with a very neglected crepe myrtle, I'm trying to figure out how to take care of him and bring him back to the utmost health, he is beside the street so I would like to make him no larger than the tree you were showing, if I want it to be more like a bush do I leave the sucker's at the bottom ?
A whole lot of useless chatter and video. Why? Just stick with the information that we came here to hear. Couldn’t finish the video.

Great work and an even greater attitude towards work. Encouraging to see!
I appreciate you sharing your work, and your attitude ❤
Staples, now old theory of tossing rusted nails in I guess for iron, been around for years.
I haven't meet anyone yet that likes rubber mulch.
Pizza Boxes rescued from the trash.
While picking up food at food bank, I picked up some of their bigger boxes off the curb.
Stewarding, yes! - that hit me hard bro
Came for the berries staying for the philosophical enrichment! Beauty IS the secret sauce to any design - i'm only 2 minutes in, excited to see how beauty and function will harmonize
Thank you! I should post a video showing the orchard today! It’s producing blackberries right now like crazy!
as far as animal products, what if we are using a barrel and don't care about pests?
Then compost all the animal products you can! Super great source of nitrogen.
