Hi! I'm Jami Ray. My husband Zeb and I take vintage, antique and found items that need a little help and turn them into amazing home decor treasures. We have a practical and everyday approach to "upcycling". From Paint to upholstery we have done it all with furniture or will try it (at least once). Zeb and I do this full time as our sole income and love sharing our tips and tricks we've learned a long the way. Our style is mostly farmhouse with a touch of French Country. We almost always post five videos a week and we do a live stream twice a week.
Waste Not Wednesday Live Stream: Wednesdays at 10:00 AM Mountain Time.

It is from free people
You should a show on TV. Their's no comparison to your talent.

Battenberg❗️😉
The old Sears catalog is amazing. You can copy the pages for ephemera and save the catalog.
Jamie’s on a funny roll :) what’s in that tumbler?
That pig would have been a good decor item.

I think I have the pillow case to that flat sheet, lol

I always have to watch late but I just ordered peonies by the sea and floral paper 😀
That sears catalogue is everything ❤
Jami I know I should be commenting on the Thrifting, but I just wanted to tell you that you are looking amazing. I don’t know what your skin care routine is and I know you have mentioned Botox and things like that but you are looking younger . I almost said you are glowing, but when you have as many kids as you and I do, and you’re actually done having them, I don’t know about you, but if somebody told me my skin was glowing, I almost had a heart attack because I thought yikes could I be pregnant again?! Ha ha ha. You should do a video on all the things that you’ve been doing to look so fantastic. and, just so you don’t think I’m some weird creeper 😂 As always, loved shopping with you guys🤣
The "rock" you left looks like the fossil of the head of a small animal.
I love the sofa!
Watch all your videos but rarely comment! Love seeing all the books, quilts, heck it’s fun to see everything you find. I would be interested in bookmakers and left over decoupage papers for crafting!
I like to press old linen damp and get a good crisp press.
A transfer would look nice on the glass ❤
Love the blue glass canisters! Those will be fun mystery boxes.
Not fair! Love it all! Lol!
Battenberg Lace. Love that. The bright afghan with squares and rectangles of color is in the style of the artist Mondrian. (Look up “Broadway Boogie” painting 8:19) Very 1960’s! Love the books and quilts!
I found a book at church rummage sale that is from 1918, “ The Rural Efficiency guide”. So cool all about farm animals and care etc
Great haul as usual. I can't believe you found an antique sears catalog. What a treasure that is. when me and my brothers were little we couldn't wait for the sears and jc penny catalogs to arrive especially the christmas ones. By the time christmas got here those catalogs were worn out from us kids. Oh what fun that was. I would love to come across one when I am out thrifting. I love the sketch book you found. Ya'll always find the best stuff.
I’m surprised your bins location doesn’t have a standard book rate. Every location I’ve been to (in different states) had a book rate of $0.25 each book or sometimes it was $0.30/lb. So either way it was much cheaper than the rest of the bins because they knew books weighed much more than anything else and wanted to encourage people to still purchase them.
Where do you sell your books ? I just started looking at vintage books . I do pick up all coffee table books. Originally for myself but now for a booth I hope to open in the near future. Great video !!
I hope you got the folded book. Those sell for pretty oenny and take lots of time to do!
Loved this youtube. The books You pick out are always great, Really loved that one that had the pictures and the sketchings. Love all of the afghan's quilts and linens you pick up.
The Sears catalog was a great find!
Your posting early...Good morning

😊👍👋
Both have good and bad stuff, but B is the best.
Hubby and I miss Sears too 😢
More mystery boxes!
Score on the copper tea pot.
*The pillow sham or sheet or whatever piece of linen with the Hibiscus flowers printed on it is gorgeous❣️ Reminds me of flower leis and Hawaii And close, Jami...it's called Battenburg lace - the fancy cutwork in the cotton linen piece you asked about. 😉🙃🤍🥰*
The little Rae Dunn bowls were adorable. Yes, the Los Angeles traffic can be horrific. We used to live there and there is nothing like having appointments in Santa Monica at 3 pm and then trying to get back to the valley. It’s on highway 405…named 405 because it takes 4 or 5 hours to get home. 😂
I find it interesting when thrifters say they can't find anything. Whether it's at a thrift store or the Goodwill bins. One can ALWAYS find items to resell. It's just some days you may not feel it, or you're being selective or "picky" and not realize you're being selective or "picky." Because as I watch these videos, I see items being passed over, while in other videos, you would or have bought the same item. (When I say "you," I'm referring to thrifters in general). I believe 98 percent of items in thrift stores can be repaired, refurbished, re-purposed, or upcycled if someone chooses to do so. So when thrifters say they aren't, can't, or didn't find anything, it's because they just weren't "feeling" it. I mean if someone does this on a regular basis, they are going to have days where they just aren't "feeling" it. (FYI...I watch several resellers on KZread, and it's the same with all of you, I watch you guys (resellers in general) walk past items or pass on items that you have purchased in past videos, or you purchase in future videos. So...instead of saying you can't or didn't find anything, just say you weren't "feeling" it. However, I enjoy watching all the videos regardless if you purchase anything or not.
Beautiful!
The green and white pillowsham with pink flowers is a Hawaiian pattern. I can’t think of the flower off the top of my head. While I was attending BYU-Hawaii I took a Polynesian crafts class and each of us stitched one quilt block. The tiny even stitches you make as you sew around and around your flower pattern is intense but very rewarding!
I swear one of those sheets looked like one I had when I attended BYU in 1976. Lol. I’ve got to get brave and hit up the bins here in Charlotte NC. I have a hard time walking so I vicariously shop with you!
Whoa, the first edition book is treasure!
