This NFL player had 9-10 sacks one season, which is hard to do. I don’t think what he sounds like matters. More so how he performs. It’s an actual release from his core. It’s like a “kiai” in karate.

Adding in the forward movement for him is so important. See too many of these hand fighting videos without combining any other part of the body. Its more coordination than anything... good stuff.

Great video Coach, thank you! Question: So if you are essentially mirroring the guard when you're 2 gapping, does that mean you have to delay your getoff in order to be able to react and step/strike to his step?

Coach, this move would have transformed my career in college... I was fortunate enough to play D1, but I couldn't rush the passer well enough as a Nose to crack the starting lineup and displace an two consecutive All-Americans. The coaching point about bring your hand to the arm pit is huge!

Hey coach, I’m looking how to become the best pass rusher I can be. I’m in high school, just ended my freshman year and I want to do great things for my team. Any advice? And another question, how do I get that kind of dummy? I would love something I can buy to help me practice at home
