  So they believe the child of a fatherless man, born out of a woman who never had any sex, runs the universe, and they believe that we control the weather. That sounds plausible. I'll give up the trappings of modern civilisation and live in poverty for that.

  How can churches be safe places if there are both covert and overt leaders in positions of authority in the church whose emotional abuse is covered up by bishops who interest is only to preserve the reputation of the church. Until those who cover up abuse are sacked and true accountability takes place abusers will continue for ever and ever. Actions speak louder than words. The church is riddled with both covert and overt naracists. Get rid of them now.

  Archbishop welby never fails to impress me. I've learned so much from him especially about prayer and how absolutely essential prayer is to individuals and to the life of the church.   I am highly dissapointed that so many people dont know what is the actual meaning of christmas. The real Christmas story is the story of God’s becoming a human being in the Person of Jesus Christ. Why did God do such a thing? Because He loves us! Why was Christmas necessary? Because we needed a Savior! Why does God love us so much? Because He is love itself (1 John 4:8). Why do we celebrate Christmas each year? Out of gratitude for what God did for us, we remember His birth by giving each other gifts, worshiping Him, and being especially conscious of the poor and less fortunate. The true meaning of Christmas is love. God loved His own and provided a way-the only Way-for us to spend eternity with Him. He gave His only Son to take our punishment for our sins. He paid the price in full, and we are free from condemnation when we accept that free gift of love. "But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

  Hope those soothing words at these times of pain and tension in the world will touch the minds of professed Christians who knowingly or unknowingly accepted or promoted racial injustice in their cummunities.   Sadly the Anglican Church is not what it once was. By trying to be too 'hip, 'trendy' and 'inclusive' and rejecting the Biblical teachings on 'gays' and women priests it has lost its vital spirituality. -- I am looking for a Church that worships, preaches and follows Jesus Christ the Redeemer - not Marxist/leftist/liberal-inspired 'political correctness' - and that recognizes and actively opposes the bogus deceitful cult of 'Muhammad' the Antichrist as evil and Satanic.
