  For anyone looking at this in 2024, you can gain 1 more total skill point by using the Dragon Head Alpha, and subbing 1 Free Elem/Guard Deco for Free Elem in the first helmet slot. The 2 aditional level 2 slots allows to use the level 1 artillery without loosing on an extra point. I used it to cap out Quick Sheath myself, but Fortify or Geology (guiding lands) are also good candidates I also went with Attack Up instead of Agitator, since Sticky gets basically no value off the extra crit, and since you dont really wanna go for wallbangs for the instant enrage, agitator doesnt get as much uptime as other weapons. But thats personnal prefference

  Is slugger 5 really worth it? Have you tested it to see how many additional KO’s you get over slugger 3 or no points of slugger?

  With 2 point of slugger on average you down Safijiva 5 times if you focus the head. WIth full slugger you will do it around 8 times. For monsters with low stun bars like Shara Ishvalda you can chain stun him twice per hunt with slugger 5. Shara gets knocked down due to stun and before he gets up again you can make it break again.

  Why Max crit when he already has 105% Affinity when enraged and tenderized? You would be wasting damage potential.

  This with Fatalis LBG and rapid fire sticky 2. Run Attack 7, Agi 7, Artillery 5, Slugger 5 and defence skill of your preference (I run divine 5). Outputs much higher damage and KOs. You'll need to be good with your accuracy though. GL!

  @@MRASIBOY Just tried it. I fainted once in phase 3, when I was stuck in reloading animation just as he did the downward flame. Killed me in 2 ticks. I got him, though. 21'04"33. It was my first try using spread LBG, too.

  Health Regen I + Element/Status Effect Up II for more survivability but you can change it to Element/Status Effect Up III + Defense Increase I for more elemental damage.

  Man how long did it take you to get those gems... I never get good ones. 2 Challenger jewel+ 4s? I have 400h on my character now and i didnt get half of the jewels in this build yet.

  Was amazed to see a 4min run on LBG but was skeptical. Then I saw its the dawns Triumph quest. Really hard to solo the normal alatreon using lbg. Takes too long
