I’m thinking about doing the Donner race this weekend. As my first time so I’d do the Diva class. I’d say I’m a beginner rider. I’m not horrible though. Do you think I should try or is it too hard?
@billwhite967410 ай бұрын
I think you should try. Take your time on the first lap they always have plenty of sweepers if you need help over a technical spot. Just stop and wait for a sweeper tell them I am not comfortable doing this section can you help me through it . They will gladly. The diva race is the easiest course and they have the most sweepers to help. Now if you said this is my first race and I want to do the C course I would say oh heck no. Now after the first lap if you don’t want to do another lap just stop before the home check point wait till the checkered flag come out and get your finisher pin.

So this is just some constructive critiquing and points on helping you get the best out of your future videos. I like the pov mount, I myself have this kind of pov mount via the Ram Mount on my dual sport bike just because I can control my camera on the fly. You have to cut the shaking out and that often comes with this kind of camera pov mount. Not sure what band of camera you are using but if you are using a GoPro from the model's Hero 6-11 you need to up your internal stabilization. If you are not using a GoPro or using older models like the 5 or older then you need to mount the camera on a gimble to take away the shake. AMA has given us these ridiculous guidelines on where we cannot mount our cameras so we have to be creative, mounting on the bike is a good place but either you get a gimble or get a camera that has internal stabilization like the GoPro or the DJI Osmo. Great video minus the shaking.
@billwhite9674 Жыл бұрын
ya i have the GoPro 4 and I totally agree with you on that vibration in the video I need to find a better way to mount it I use a GoPro 4 also for my videos but I mount mine on my chest protector and the movies come out good but the way my wife races she cant put it on her chest protector the way she stands it faces down to much so i had to mount it to her bike
