    Their customer service phone line is not customer service. Not helpful to simple questions. Their sales rep held the phone line open for 27 minutes; from what I assume was to eliminate me from leaving a bad customer review as prepped by an automated system prior to speaking with a human. 27 minutes later. The CSR finally released the call and I left a bad review.

Also, please note a variety of factors, such as flow setting, Pulse or Continuous Flow Mode, temperature or age will impact the operating time.

    Fine concentrator, BUT you cant travling with it if you use over 3LPM. Because pulse flow over 3LPM, you cant sleep with the concentrator. The perfect concentrator Will be 5lpm without pulse flow, like inogen athome.

    Thanks for the post, yes you are correct about continuous flow versus pulse flow. Stationary oxygen concentrators for at home needs do provide higher continuous flow settings.

    Hi There's a 7-year-old boy who uses the fixed device which has humidifier. If used without the humidifier he gets a nose bleeding because the oxygen makes his nostril skin dry which causes bleeding. For this new portable device which has no water container, does it make up for that humidifier which have been removed from this device?

    Thanks for the post. For the smaller portable oxygen concentrators like the FreeStyle Comfort they do not have humification adapters available. However, the Eclipse 5 portable oxygen concentrator which is transportable on wheels does have a humidification adapter kit that can be added to the unit. This is also something that our stationary oxygen concentrators can accommodate.     I am a "retainer". In other words oxygen I breathe in is not easily exhaled. Pulse flow doesn't give me enough. I have an Inogen and struggle. I'm good if I sit. But walking is out. I do fine continual 5. Sometimes I need to do some pursed lip breathing and exhale because of trapped CO2. I don't want an alarm telling me it' not detecting a breath. It's complicated to explain. I need continual. How close to continual will this machine mimic it. Sales agent seems to think the technology will be my ticket.

    Thanks so much for posting. The FreeStyle Comfort does not supply continuous flow oxygen, however it will as you described pulse oxygen if the no breath alert is triggered. This will continue until a breath is sensed. See the included link on how it compared to other portable oxygen concentrators in a recent bench top study - www.caireinc.com/freestyle-comfort-excels-in-poc-comparison-study/ . I would consult with your physician on what device and setting is right for you based on your prescription requirements. If you happen to track your pulse ox while using your portable oxygen concentrator - I would share this information with the provider. This can all help determine what delivery system is best for you. CAIRE does manufacture the Eclipse 5 which is a transportable oxygen concentrator offering 1-3 LPM.     I just had that happen to mine a few months ago. Fail 94 is a problem with the compressor motor. Thankfully mine was still under warranty and I got the repairs done.

    Somewhat correct but not the correct way to fill a lox base. The correct way is to gravity fill the base this ensures complete fill with correct saturation and allowing your primary relief valve to stay closed during fill. This is the way it was designed to be filled 45 years ago.

    Thanks for your post. This video instruction helps to ensure that we end up with LOX saturated at 20 psi so the patient will get the correct prescribed flow rate. A gravity fill would leave the reservoir at close to atmospheric pressure which would cause the delivered flow rate at each setting to be under the prescription.

    Thanks Julie for the note! Yes, the battery can be left in while connected to power all the time. Once the battery is done charging, the unit recognizes this and stops sending charging power to the battery.
