Hello again! This is me watching at your home tour but now in my lap top's screen because your house is a dream and a sweet tart. Congratulations!! I know all of the effort that renovations like yours take and your results are incredible!. Now could you please make a video with all of your beautiful houses please? showing the detail of each one please? including the ones that are at your hallway and your teapots (loved them). Thankyou so much and cheers from México.

This would be a great project for furniture you'd otherwise sell or toss before buying a new piece. I wonder if taking a wet vac or carpet cleaner to it while wet would ruin the stain.

I bought foam tiles, but they're pre-painted a dark mauve, so I'm not sure what to do about caulking. Is it just for aesthetic reasons or is there a cleaning aspect or something to it? Because I don't have a color match paint for the tiles, I don't know if white would look odd, so maybe clear?

It’s an easy-to-use solution designed to lock in color, keeping the fabrics looking their best and brightest for the long run. It reduces bleeding, fading and even enhances the color of the project. Use after dyeing to lock in color

@@AtHomewithAshley first of all, you need to apply consistent pressure to your cutter. Also, remain perpendicular - no leaning the cutter to the left or right. Running pliers are primarily for running long scores. Get a pair of grozing pliers for breaking off small pieces. Using mosaic clippers throws shards of glass everywhere. They were not made for this use. Cut close to your pattern so you have a minimum to grind. I’m not sure where you bought your iron or what type it is but a good iron will last for years. To get a proper bead you need to apply plenty of heat. Make sure you use the proper cleaners to get off your flux residue or you will end up with white “mold” in a short amount of time along your solder lines. Stained Glass is an expensive and difficult art form and it takes lots of practice. I just worry when people put out their “process” when they are just at the beginning of their journey. There are lots of resources on KZread that provide excellent help if you are unable to take more in person training. One I would recommend is Mackenzie H.

Thank you. Some of these are things I can work at getting better at with time. Some are personal preferences and there’s more than one way to skin a cat. I actually love when someone is one or two steps ahead of me and shares their process- it’s easier to learn from than someone who is advanced in my opinion.
