Yes, I let them cool for about 10 minutes then wrap them in saran wrap and freeze them overnight or up to 5 days. Depending on how many orders I have.

I have tried this & had fairly good luck, however if I make the cake the day before & refrigerate overnight, the dye color from the drips "sweats" out in the refrigerator & runs on down the cake making it look messy. I have tried freezing the cake & it solved the problem, except the dye ran out when it thawed. Am I doing something wrong?
